ohhhhhhh lol Thanks Haymaker. I thought there was some sort of 7-11 gift card or something they wanted me to buy....lol I have never bought anything at a 7-11, just an occasional lottery ticket. The clerk asked me , when I handed her my two tickets, if I had checked them to see if they were winners. I said yes (I had checked online so hoped I did it right...had multipliers also) and she gave me a yea, right look. Then when she checked them, the machine kept making that beepbeep BEEEEEP sound.

I played 2 $5 Monopoly and I got a 10X train symbol with $5 under it so I won $50 off that. Then I played some other ones and lost pretty badly, mostly on the $20 tickets. I played 6 Silver Gold Riches to win $40. 2 Big Money Megaplay and won $20. 2 Cash Spectacular to win $50. 2 different Cash Spectacular to win $30. 1 Cash Spectacular on another roll to win $25. 2 Silver Gold Riches at another store to win $20. Then I bought 1 Silver Gold Riches ticket off another roll in the machine and won $

$1 Centennial Cash- loser Was going to get a $5 ticket but the machine kept spitting the bill out... and no replacement ID yet to get behind the counter...hmmm... maybe next time

Personal opinion: Off the roll is better then out of the machine. Buy in groups of 3 or 5. If you get a good win, stop buying that ticket type at that location. BobP

wooo hit $200 on the $10 LFL 2nd ticket out ( # 050 ). then got the last $200 MS on the roll and hit $50. then got 5x $10 Million Dollar Holiday and hit $20 + $100 (bow) # 020. finally got a BDB and hit $100 # 005 looks like i had left the winners sitting in the machine all along

Have self-serve lottery machines, but can't pay out any tickets? (Rite-Aid in Ohio)Reply
We have similar vending machines in KY, but I've only seen them in stores that also have the regular lottery terminals. If your Rite-Aid store doesn't have a terminal too, they can't cash your ticket. I had a problem with the playslip reader in one of those machines and had to buy scratch-offs because the store couldn't refund the money I put in the machine. Those machines are fine if you're buying scratch-offs, but I won't be putting $10 in one of them to buy any online game tickets.

In my state, the machine that sells lotto and scratch off are two separate machines so I wouldn't need to interrupt him to buy my lotto. But if it were the same machine, I would just go to another store since unlike scratch off, it would make no difference whatsoever where you buy your lotto. Having said that, I never scratch my ticket at the store or in any public place for that matter. It is just too tacky in my opinion. I think we are all big loosers. I have been playing lotteries for more than 20 years. I only play terminal lotteries, no scratch off, no casino, no videopoker. I don't have a specific budget. I play QP and SP , sometimes a mix of both, some time multiple draws. I can tell you I lost a lot of Money. I am truck driver and when I drive through Canada or USA , I stop in every states for a pee or for gas and buy a lottery ticket...I cannot enter in a store where there's a retailer machine and not buy

Bought one $1.00 Win $500 a Week for Life ticket by my work, LOST (191 from Instant Machine). Hopefully, I will have time tonight to scratch off all of my Blue Line Illinois Lottery cards. They sold out by my work!!
