A VERY serious topic.
It would make the most sense to be as anonymous as possible - but with a better-half who thinks that all family needs to know - that leaves me telling them that they will ONLY get annual amounts from us for as long as we BOTH live, we actually have a will in place that gives savings/non-liquid assets to our local food-bank/homeless shelter with the remaining spouse having a life-estate in the property (dh's idea not mine) - we wanted to give them all LOTS of reasons to keep us alive and MINIMUM

Daughter accused of stealing mom's lottery jackpot starts collecting winnings
This is why to option to remain anonymous is very important. Winners come under enormous pressure from family members after a winner's identity is published.

What took me so long to find this website?
If you win the Wisconsin Lottery, you can't remain anonymous.
Can a winner remain anonymous?
No. Wisconsin has an open records law. Most information that state government produces or controls is available to any organization or person requesting it. Only information in the public s interest may be released by a government agency. The lottery, upon request, must release the name and city of the winner. Any other information about the winner will be released only with the winner s conse

Is this a good method ?
People who get upset at the idea that THEIR system isn't working need to seek gamblers anonymous pronto! There is no system. Numbers are REPORTED in numerical order for convenience and readability sake. There is no such thing as numerical order in random numbers.

Which LP members would you split any jackpot with?
IMO, good topic and looks like the other side of the coin from another topic. It will be interesting to see what the remain anonymous members (promise anything because they will never know you won) will say and of course from those who occasionally PM us asking for a handout.

I threw in 569 at the last minute.......makes me want to hurl! Decided I may play virtually, but not another $ to them until after the first Tuesday of the month, then you can win all day long. Click the top link in my signature to read up on the research I did last night regarding this. Also, VOTE, it is anonymous and F-R-E-E to do so (two things you can't do if you win a big jackpot)

Wyoming Lottery has its first $1 million winner
Congratulations to the winner!
The good news is, in Wyoming, lottery winners have the right to remain anonymous. I hope the winner takes advantage of the opportunity to protect their privacy. Winners who have their identity published are inundated with requests for assistance, plus there are some crazies out there.
If I win a lottery, can I remain anonymous?
We will honor requests for anonymity from winners. However, we certainly hope winners will allow us to share their names and

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Ralphie, the jackpot winners in this state have the option to remain anonymous. The top prize list is updated daily, but the Lottery need not report the winner or where the ticket was sold, although there are notable exceptions which can easily be found on the site. In any event, finding a winning Scratcher over $100 is incredibly hard to find and in my 16 years of playing, has only happened to me three times.
