Man claims he's owed Mega Millions in suit against Illinois Lottery
The way I read the article, it only says he filed suit April 14th. He may have been trying to collect and only now filed the lawsuit.

N.Y. looks to join Powerball lottery
The clerk where I buy my tickets told me a couple of weeks ago that we were going to be able to buy Powerball in NY. I can't wait. Now, as the article said, I won't have to go to Connecticut anymore to buy the tickets.

Hitting the jackpot: Rebecca Hargrove's winning strategy
Too bad the article failed to mention how much they raised the tuition in all Tennessee's colleges and universities shortly after the Hope Scholarships began hitting the campii. While I am all in favor of the lottory and fully support the scholarship program, I find my anger directed at the Board of Regents for raising the tuition. Today one must not only qualify for a Hope Scholarship to attend the college of their choice but also apply for education loans. That is totally wrong.

You are exactly right about TN/KY #s. I remember reading, I think, it was in January that Ky was contemplating using a system similiar to TN. Since I read it, I beging to notice that the same # would fall in Ky on a draw and fall in TN the next draw, or #s from the same v-trac. I will try to find the article and post it. I'm sure it was in the Jan Lottery News.

10 N.J. co-workers will split $216M lottery jackpot
The article actually implies that the worker did not know, and was unsure why he was being rushed for $5.00. He was then told he was a milionaire afterwards.

Piqua lottery winners sued by co-workers
Again it just doesn't add up simply because the guy who put in 2 bucks (1 for himself, 1 for his mother) was given two shares of the pot. If the rest of the 13 agreed that was fair and within their lotto pot agreement... then it seems there were two agreements made on how to split the winnings. Seems to be in the A little to convenient department for me. Plus can always roll on over to Dayton Daily News (where this forum got the article) and read the comments there. Lots of emotion and hearsay b
