Congrats to the lucky Powerball winner in NEw Hampshire
I don't care as much that someone won, but it's really annoying that there isn't any big jackpots now and there won't be for 15+ draws.

Mechanical balls are still programmed so if someone think its totally random think again.......If it was random you would get more people winning jackpots on division 1

True, but because of the potential huge jackpots, they will stick with ball drawings that create more drama.

Well, I guess we might get a billion dollar jackpot soon for PB!
More people play when the jackpots are larger--that doesn't change the odds--just increases the number of tickets sold.

Some people seem to think their odds of winning increase as jackpots increase. Why is that?

Playing The Lottery Is Total Insanity.
But who cares about big jackpots? The OP only mentioned the biggest 2 games. There's many easier games and also 2nd/3rd prize wins. I don't even chase or expect the big jackpots from playing random draws.
$100,000 jackpot pales in comparison to a multi-million dollar jackpot, but that's a lot of money someone in their late 20s without tons of debt could use. Plus it's far more acheivable.

$311 MILLION: Here comes Powerball
I'd be content to win KY Cashball $200K pre-tax; it would take care of everything I need. Sure, still playing with the big dogs is never an option not to play. You can't win if you don't play.
My Sister, who does not buy lottery tickets, emailed me because she saw something that people don't win the big jackpots. All Lottery Post members et al know this not the case. Otherwise the jackpots would be in the billions.

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Great hits everyone! I haven't played any high dollar amounts recently but I will soon. I did grab a $2 monopoly yest and won $20. Also got a couple of other small wins. Does anyone play the $5 Cashfall ticket? Idk but i really enjoy that ticket but have a lot of losers hanging around the house and car from trying to hit one of the remaining jackpots lol. Maybe we can get some math on how many tickets for that game are left because last time I looked at the website it still had 3 jackpots out th
