More Instant than Instant Win
Just the other Day. I put $20 into a scratchoff ticket vending machine and noticed that the credit displayed was $25, somebody had put a five in and left effectively giving me an instant $5 win albeit only redeemable for more tickets. I put in another $1 to make $26 so that I could buy one $20 Blockbuster and two $3 Match and Win tickets. One of the Match Wins won $4 so I guess that was my payout from that $5 left in the machine. I'm sure I've probably done the same, left credits for someone els

No $200M lottery jackpot for Christmas
Yeah, that would be true that the number of players in NY would dictate more winners........Well, ...Ok, then how about NY bow out of the Mega lotto and just be they're own super lotto within New York since in the current scenerio the smaller states that Never win are never GONNA win and therefore are just giving our dollars away each week so someone in the bigger states can snap it up ! Hehehe...If Ya think about it though, It DOESN'T make sense that if it's the Easy Pics that keep winning -why

What Would You Have Done??
After printing my Fantasy 5 tickets for tonights draw, the clerk tells me the amount, which is $10 more than I played. We look at the tickets and the machine had printed out 10 quick-picks on a single ticket. I told the clerk that wasn't mine and he cheked my playslips and agreed, I was correct. He asked me if I wanted to purchase them........................................what would you have done?????????? I will answer that question tomorrow morning.

When To Play The Lottery
I believe when you get an easy pick for mega millions, you get the numbers the lottery wants you to have. i tell my husband all the time pick your own numbers. Alot of the time my husband will get eps from the gas station then eps from the party store they look similar. maybe he should buy tickets all over then play whats missing. he had one ticket with the numbers 1 2 3 10 11 money ball 4 , somehow i don't see that popping out of the machine. i think the computors can be programmed to keep a st

Lottery vending machines coming to Arkansas
I think it would have to be a cash voucher redeemable at any lottery retailer.
As far as cashing a ticket, I prefer the idea of getting it from a machine. I think I trust machines more than I do Convenient Store clerks. The machines may malfunction on occasion but generally don't hatch schemes and scams in an effort to rip you off. At least if the machine rips you off it will be by accident and not by design.

POLL: Playslips
About 100...Pick 3 and 200 Pick 4. I do not like filling them out in the store. I shake up my numbers daily
and hate not having slips at home. Like someone else said, some places don't even bother to put them
out......If you're going to advertise: Play here, pay here...for crying out loud have the equipment handy.
That goes for the money to pay out too...that's another discussion though.
I want to see the day where the option to choose 50/50 on the P4 comes on the playslip. Other tha

No I didn't. My numbers were in line with JohnnyB, the 73 thing. Anyway, I'm glad I didn't hit becasue a gal stole my tickets. When i paid the clerk, he laid my tickets on top of the register. Some of my change dropped on the floor so I bent down to get it. When I did, the woman grabbed her ticket and mine. The clerk saw it and called after her, but she took off running down to the hotel where she worked (had on the maid uniform). This morning a parking lot machine ripped me off for $6.00 extra.

Strange one today...
My experience has been when the machine doesn't print some of the combination numbers, it also doesn't print some of the bar code. I bought a tickets like that the other day and when I returned to cash it, the machine couldn't read it. Fortunately the ticket numbers were clear enough for the clerk to punch them in by hand and I got my $3.
I knew what my numbers were suppose to be because I make out a play slip but didn't noticed some numbers weren't printed until I checked my tickets later or

New York: 3/1 - 3/31/2009
Thanks, funny thing happened when I got my numbers tonight. The Owner of one of the better stores I go to told me about the 'play $5 in NY Lottery and get $2 in qp free promo that was going on. And we got to talking about the last million dollar Lottery winner they had, which was almost 20 years ago and due to talking I failed to check my tickets. When I saw the number come out I checked my tickets and I had all but that one and one other? I then spent 10 minutes going through the car and retrac

Getting the faith back in Tn Lottery
Congrats on the win Cindy! I hit 4/5 back when pick 5 was lotto five in 2004. It was a great feeling to watch those numbers roll from the machine. By the way... Most pick 5 style games have a $1 (free ticket) prize or no prize at all! The odds of hitting 2 numbers is like ~1:8 if memory serves me correctly. That's why the payout isn't that much but at least it's something... Again, congrats and KEEP IT UP!!!! It's been a really good month for you!
