I know when they run promo games at certain times I have heard the lotto machines play music to let you know you won a bonus ticket. Why don't every state adopt this as a normal routine to winning tickets of all sizes. That way, even if the owner of the ticket can not see the screen they can still hear the music or a computer voice saying You're a winner . It should not be that hard to make the whole machine shut down if the music or voice mechanism is tampered with or shut off. I would think th

I mostly just play $1 per panel (i.e. no powerplay) because even though the largest prize I have ever won from powerball was because I had powerplayed that ticket, there have been a lot more non-winners...therefore an extra buck gone down the drain without giving me another chance at winning. Ok so maybe that is why they act weird somtimes the clerks that is. Well on the back of my ticket is says WHEN YOU WIN _SIGN YOUR TICKET OVERALL ODDS 1:4.14 Does that increase your changes by anyway?

1 Billion Dollar Powerball Jackpot!
I don't know if there is a cap on how big the powerball can get. BUT with the addition of Florida, the powerball is going to grow faster and bigger. We all said what we would do with a million dollar win but what if.........a billion could be won. Let's just say it will get to a billion dollars, what would your reaction be if it got there or even if the pot was so big? Would your lottery playing increase until someone won or what?

Powerball now has the potential...
Powerball now has the potential to hit the massive jackpot amounts we once thought was possible. But I guess wait, they have that $25M increase rule so maybe not. This game has not sold more than $100M tickets in a single drawing since February or 2006. Almost three years now. The odds are almost 1 in 200,000,000. It would definetly seem possible for them to start hitting higher amounts more frequently even with the addition of Florida. We could see our first $400M jackpot soon. Brad
