There is a article that appeared in the Philadelphia Daily News back on 3/8/08 that suggest that the Lottery should revamp its nighttime television drawings. Do you think that the lottery should change the format of its nighttime television drawings to look more similar like Illinois.

$200,000 Powerball lottery prize goes unclaimed
I actually think it is a good idea to not tell people where the ticket was purchased until after someone claims it or it expires. Judging by the article, too many people come out of the woodwork claiming that they won, when they really didn't.

Sopranos' Vinny Vella fumes over $5M lotto misprint
If you read the article again, maybe you'll notice that they didn't sell 4500 tickets that were known to be defective. They knew there was a problem with 4500 tickets, so they weren't sold. No matter how careful they are there will always be some errors. That's one of the reasons that the numbers are printed as numerals and as words. You can hope as much as you want, but he will lose.

Dado invention
I dreamed I was looking in a book and ran across a list of inventions.
Dado stood out in the dream although nothing was mentioned to what it was or who invented it.
I had never heard of it.

Kellogg's worker won't change much after winning $1M lottery jackpot
ZZZZ another life won't change much article. Actually a million dollars can go a long way if you are smart. At 5% alone you pull in about $45,000 ro $50,000 in interest alone, plus other funds you already have. Depends on how high you want your lifestyle to be.

Kellogg's worker won't change much after winning $1M lottery jackpot
It seems like the person did not read the ENTIRE article. You know what's funny i was thinkg based onthe subject that it was a lump sum win. After tax win of almost 3k per month is a nice sum. I would max out my retirment Roth IRA contributionand pay off the mortgage and eat out at a nice place once a month.

Kellogg's worker won't change much after winning $1M lottery jackpot
I don't think there was a cash option. The article said that she gets an annuity payment for 20 years, not enough to live on,though. It will make life a little easier for her and her family.

Millionaire lottery winner goes back to job at McDonald's
Her name was on the check and the article mentioned how he spent some of the money. Maybe he spent too much, she cut him and that's the real reason why he had to go back to work at McDonalds.

Mass. lottery winner dies in house fire
The article refers to smoking materials so there's a good chance that he fell asleep while smoking, or left a burning cigarette in a bad spot. a smoke alarm ina good spot should go off well before there's enough smoke to be a real problem, but an 85 YO could have any of several reasons for not getting out. As a lottery winner it would certainly be ironic if he died for lack of a $10 smoke detector or a $3 battery.
