Mega Millions and Powerball both at/over $1 Billion. Your thoughts?
It was a good idea as my vote because I think about these huge jackpots in hand.

Would you quit playing altogether should you win a major jackpot...
I probably wouldn't play jackpots but I might buy scratchers and give the winners to my mom.

Where do you do your ticket shopping?
From now on when Powerball jackpots get big I'll be making the trek to Tennessee to buy tickets.

Don't You Find It Interesting?
No not really, they DECREASED the odds by adding balls not increased the odds. So of course it is going to be a lot harder. With more interest and the billion dollar hype even more people played, thus raising the jackpot even more and kept compounding from there both in plays and the jackpot amount. Nothing miraculous about it as 3 winners won, as finally most or all of the combinations wee bought. Also won by all who will be revealed eventually. Would have been more interesting if it went to $2

Powerball reaching record jackpots due to the odds just got harder?
Didn't it used to be about 1 in 190 million odds and now it's 1 in 292 million odds to win the jackpot? So anyone with 292 million bucks could have won 1.5 billion right? Also, how does one claim a jackpot using a trust ? What is that to begin with? I know my state one can claim anonymously but I'm curious if one happened to live in a state where you must accept the jackpot in public, how do you get around it using a trust instead?

So, the lottery has yet to produce a single Billion Dollar Winner.
2 more billion dollar jackpots this year. 2nd one will have billion dollar winner(s) (if multi-winners - each ones portion 1B$)

With PB Jackpot at 1.5 Bil, did anyone play Mega last night for $15 mil?
I buy 2 sets of self picked numbers for MM for every draw no matter how high the other jackpots go.

Luckiest States
This is why I did not get excited about the high jackpot, yes be in the game. Wait for the next billion dollar jackpot, it will be the same places hitting the jackpots.
( Florida, Ca, New York, PA., and maybe Ga.) Go back to regular jackpots where you don't have the max people buying tickets.

$1.5 BILLION: Wednesday Powerball record jackpot still rising
They changed the matrix in October with the goal of creating huge jackpots and boost lagging sales...worked like a charm.
