Staying Motivated for Jackpot Games
I like working on a strategy for winning even when I don't play or when I do play and lose. I'm constantly improving my analyzing program to evaluate those strategies. For example I know in last 100 PB drawings had I eliminated the previous 12-15 numbers of the last 3 drawings from my number pool I would have had a pool of 40-43 numbers that would have had 4 or 5 of the winning numbers 58% of the time and all five 21% of those times. Also that group would have had the bonus number 82% of

Group Play Questions
In two cases in the news now winning lottery pools are being sued by people outside the pools who admit they contributed nothing to or signed any agreement with these pools. In the case in California, four co-workers claimed members of the pool agreed verbally a long time ago that if they ever won big in a lottery they would share their winnings with all their co-workers and in Texas a woman claimed that even though she never joined the pool, a friend failed to cover the cost of her joining so

Lotto 649 Jackpot at $22 Million
Have you read https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/130616.htm you and Amazing Grace are trying to prove the same thing. My observations of lotteries in the USA are that most big jackpots are won by a single person or shared by a couple and where pools are involved, 20% of the time there is a depute because someone is trying to get over as the expense of others in the pool. I don't play in a pool but if I did it would only be with people I personally saw and trusted every day like family and co

Playing lottery alone?
Oops! All of a sudden my page refreshed and I couldn't finish my post. It's now an hour later...LOL! Sometimes I think I'd forget about setting my clocks if it weren't for my computer. Anyway, I have a question if anyone reads this. What do most people do when they have a pool and new people want to join? Just curious because of what I wrote above. I understand that over time winnings are put back into the pot (which is why their pool was closed to new hires) so how can a company, club or

Powerball lottery jackpot climbs to $152 million
What you do is similar to what we do in our lottery pool at work. We each put up $4 on payday and buy both Powerball and Lotto multidraw tickets that cover all drawings until the next payday. No matter what the jackpot is, we play and keep hoping we'll win. With 6 of us in the pool, that's 3 Powerball and 3 Lotto tickets. I always play Lotto for myself as well, but I only buy Poweball for myself if the jackpot gets above $100 million. When the jackpot gets high at my work, someone always

Looking for Powerball Pool Player
I think the pool organizer would be more successful if he gave his place of residence and then canvass Post members who live in same or nearby state. This way, the players could meet for coffee somewhere, bring in other potential members, etc. There is one big Powerball pool on the net already. Folks join by paying $19.99 to become one of 100 members in a pool. Starting from scratch with secrecy is just not going to fly, IMHO.

Co-worker suing for share of lottery prize
It's unbelievable that the courts allow these claims... try to get a ticket from a retailer without cash in hand. Anyone can falsely claim they asked someone To Spot them the money. In my office pool, if you don't pay up you are not in it, if your name doesn't appear on the copies I distrubute... again you are not in the pool.. I hate lazy people that want a free ride. Pay in advance if you are going to be out... don't buy that six pack of beer or cigarettes... save your money for the poo

jackpot lottery pool
Iv'e been in pools before and only with a limited amount of people usually 5 to 10 people. I've heard of pools of 20 or more people. I don't want any part of that kind of pool. Too many problems could pop up and not enough cash going to you should you win. I don't mind sharing a jackpot but when 20 people win not much to brag about after everything has been divided up. Another way i look at it is if the pool wins the pot and i can't come away with at least 3/4 million after taxes then i ain'

Possibility of the "Impossible"
There is definitely going to be a jackpot winner or winners tonight. Already $72M went in to the pool since Wednesday. Thats ~30% of the 50% that goes into the jackpot pool and equals ~$102M. So, they already sold ~$204M worth of tickets. This cover more then 146,107,962.00 combinations. These are not exact figures, just a rough estimate. Am I right? $204-50%=$102M that goes to the pool and out $102M 30% goes in to the jackpot which is $72M

New Lottery Post Wheels for Pick 5?
CalifDude - I created my own system for choosing the numbers over a 10 year period. The way I determine which numbers to wheel is very simple. I divide the total drawing pool into two groups, the Upper Tier Group composed of the most active numbers, and the Lower Tier Group composed of the least active numbers. I then created a method to track and record the activity of the drawn numbers, and eventually, discovered a veiled activity at work within the lottery pool. I determine which numbers to b
