are you happy with YOUR state lottery?
I voted Yes because I'm mostly happy with NJ. The main thing I DON'T like is the pari-mutuel payouts on Pick 3 and Pick 4. They usually lower than other states.
I LIKE the NJ Lottery because on the whole they don't screw around with a bunch of dopey and gimicky games and names.
They've had their share of clunkers, like Lotzee (now defunct), Cyber Slingo, and a few scratch games that you have to spend 20 minutes to figure out if it's a winner. But the main games -- Pick 6, Cash 5, Pick

same Ga. Cash 3 number hitting straight 3 days in a row all midday?
Interesting!
But when this happens with a computerized draw, we have people screaming that the state needs to go back to ball drawings because they must be cheating with the RNG.
Humans are very good at spotting patterns. It takes far more data (or physical evidence) to imply an unfair drawing.

Technical difficulty with New Jersey Lottery Pick 4 drawing results in two sets of winning numbers
Lucky for New Jersey and the few states that still have mechanical ball drawings for Pick 3/4 and other draw games.
It sucks that 'due to the pandemic' we went to computerized draws (KY) and MD not too long ago joined this screw the players mentality.
Glad NJ did the right thing and had another draw. I know it is quite a process weighing each ball and they have to be within so many nanograms of each other. Remember KY lottery had my question on this years ago and they showed how it was d

Infamous lottery scammer says US computerized lottery drawings remain fatally flawed
You'd think with the number of lotteries using computers to draw their 5 Card Cash games that they were required but they are not. You can draw a poker-style game just fine with a traditional ball drawing.
Here is yesterday's drawing of the Ontario Lottery's Poker Lotto game:
The only games that require a computerized drawing would be a raffle game or a Quick Draw style Keno game, in which the drawings are held every 4 to 5 minutes. Everything else can be drawn with a ball machine, and

A call to boycott Mega Millions loto game.
I based my opinions on the fact that a few states are using computerized system to draw out the winning numbers after all the tickets are counted. the way that the tickets are counted is based on the sale of numbers that's done when the ticket slips goes through the lotto machine at the local shops. The same machines that prints out the tickets are(IMO) counts the numbers and sends that information to Lotto HQ. How else would they know who bought the winning tickets?
Casinos cheats. The Lott

What are the lines like where you're at?
I haven't seen any lines either here in Texas.
Maybe a lot of players read the Lottery Post news article titled Lottery rigging mastermind sentenced to 25 years in prison where Eddie Tipton, former security director of the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL), admitted to rigging computer programming code to produce winning numbers netting Tipton and his accomplices millions of dollars. Tipton was formerly a programmer with the Multi-State Lottery Association, the agency that administers st

Anybody Else stopped Playing Florida Lotto Games?
I stopped playing The Florida Lotto, and all other Lottery games because I believe(in theory) that the system is computerized. Meaning that the winning numbers selected by a computer before the so called live drawings take place. From there, the live drawing with the numbered balls are just for show. The system is designed so that they can raise the Jackpot until they feel that only a few tickets match the numbers, which would have to be less than 5 winning tickets that match the state lotteries

Tennessee Lottery joins multi-state Cash4Life game Sunday
By Todd Northrop
Starting Sunday, Nov. 1, lottery players in Tennessee can participate in a growing multi-state game offering a top prize of $1000 per day for the rest of your life.
Cash4Life was started in 2014 as a two-state game, played in New Jersey and New York, and has been slowly expanding into other states. Tennessee will be the fifth state to participate.
Playing Cash4Life is just like playing other typical lotto games: players select 5 numbers from a field of 1 to 60, and 1 Ca

Monopoly Millionaires game
LM, i am curious as to how exactly are the MMC people picking winners. from the 2nd chance drawings. Are they some sort of computerized system or a paper raffle system. I have 164 entries and i wonder with that many entries how are they gonna pick a winner. Also i suspect there might be more entries than mine in maryland but i have no way of knowing that. I guess it doesn't matter how many entries you put in it's how lucky your entry pops up. I suspect they are using the web codes to puul a winn
