New York Dream Team 09/01/16 - 09/30/16
The truth that everyone is not getting is that the health care system and the way it had been set up with overbilling overtesting billing not being paid fraud lawsuits will not last another 20 years. How many hospitals have you seen just shut down? It's because of the way their run in the first place. What are we gonna do when there's absolutely no health care system in place at all? Time to think about for the future because one day it will happen no matter what the reason. It just will. That w

Georgia Lottery transfers record-breaking $1.097B to education
They claim ALL the money goes to Special education, HOPE scholarships and pre-K. Sounds to me that the bulk of that might be administrative cost as I agree with you Georgia's children do rank near the bottom in education.
Recently many of Georgia's school administrative personnel and teachers were indicted on testing fraud charges in order to receive more federal funding to line their pockets.
Educating their kids is not the primary goal of Georgia's school administration, fattening their

British Columbia Lottery wants to upgrade computerized drawing system
By Todd Northrop
Canada's British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) in order to expand and improve its ability to conduct computerized lottery drawings.
While the lottery may view a new computerized drawing system as a step-up for the organization, lottery players may feel differently. In the United States, computerized drawings are the basis for the biggest scandal to ever rock the lottery industry.
According to the RFI, the British Columbia

Lottery rigging scandal prompts security audit in South Dakota
The scandal unfolding in Iowa, where software allowed some results to be rigged in multi-state lotto drawings, has added to concerns among South Dakota Lottery officials, spurring them to proceed Thursday in requesting proposals for a security review of South Dakota Lottery facilities.
The review also would cover the statewide video-lottery system and the statewide lotto jackpot system.
Each separately connects with hundreds of private businesses.
The scratch-ticket system also would be

Investigators find Tipton's software code to rig computerized lottery drawings
Last remaining defense shattered as investigators find and decipher jackpot rigging code
A lottery vendor for years manipulated drawings to enrich himself and associates by installing software code that allowed him to predict winning numbers on specific days of the year, Iowa investigators alleged Wednesday.
Authorities called the newly obtained forensic evidence a breakthrough in the investigation of alleged jackpot-fixing scheme by Eddie Tipton, former security director of the Multi-Stat

Unclaimed jackpots from games that ended?
IMO, I think thats borderline fraud. The State Lottery Commission knows if a Jackpot ticket has been sent out for sale. When they pull old games with Jackpots remaining, im willing to bet they know if a Jackpot was pulled. Its not like the tickets get picked up, and then destroyed without the lottery commission knowing exactly what they have brought back in.
Think about it this way.... What would stop them from putting out a new $10 game with a 2mil Jackpot, not releasing the winning ti

Pennsylvania judge and friends win $291M Powerball jackpot
Geez pirate, don't feel sorry. I thought that little rant was funny!
Tipton was the guilty one. Strutt was the fall guy.
A year ago I drove up to Ohio for a funeral. While I was up there, I bought PB tix for myself. So, by your thinking, if I had won, it would have been fraud. No, I'm not a judge, but dang, so what. All sorts of people buy lottery tickets.
Over 292 million combinations in that game. You really think they are going to sift through every ticket that was sold and say hey,

Record $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot won by 3 tickets
Thinking the LLC's may be changing now too. I was watching CBS this morning and they had a story about people here in the U.S. buying luxury real estate through LLC's to hide not only their identities but the money they are using. There is a lot of fraud involved and LLC's and shell companies is another way for them to hide their evil ways.
Now I am not saying being a lottery winner and using a LLC to protect your identity is illegal but once the government gets involved, things are going to

Lottery Post will host event at 8pm EST
By Todd Northrop
Lottery players from across the United States and around the world will have the chance Monday evening to ask questions about the Eddie Tipton computerized drawing rigging scandal to Terry Rich, Iowa Lottery CEO, who was instrumental in discovering the crime.
In December 2010 a Hot Lotto jackpot worth $16 million was won on a ticket purchased in Iowa. One year later, with just two hours to spare before the ticket was to expire, a
