I always change up, which I should not do as the number always comes in a 2 or 3 days like Ravens list.I could have retire if I would have hit that Halloween Night.......Lol.... Even played it different because of the 9's were in the front row and the 2's were in the back row....Should have stayed with it the way I called it to start with...But then, that would not be me.....I was lucky to get back to the store and buy 5 more numbers as I wasn't even going back till Charles called and needed to

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Thanks Chacha! I meant to say I have not won something more than $100 in many months which is where the odds get steeper.
I plan on still playing but sparingly as I have these days. Being honest about these things, the win like this will eventually run out when 60% of the return is allocated for the common prizes, in this case, the top prize alone takes a whopping 11% of the 81.4% return. A good stopping point (to retire from playing) would be a $10,000 win, but I will not go out of my way to

Winning M/M at 15million
I think there are a couple of reasons. Seems to me that there's not much point in spending the money to buy tickets when the MM jackpot is that low because a lot of state jackpots and scratch offs can be had at that amount but with much greater odds.
I don't think that most people would consider a $15 million jackpot chump change (even with a take home value of about a third of that). I think a person should be able to retire on $5M or they need to rethink their spending habits. It's just tha

Mass-Cash Like Game Coming to Pa ...
I've often wondered what it is that influences decisions the most on what games (both online and scratch off) lottery officials decide to offer.
IMHO, Mass Cash would work in PA. If it's the population of the state they use, then PA could definitely support a game such as Mass Cash. PA is 6th in population with 12.7 million. Mass is 14th with 6.5 million.
I know that changing a product that's been successful can backfire badly, so that may be why states are reluctant to retire one game in

What do you do if you have a winning lottery ticket?
the CDAR limit is $50 million.
AFAIK, that limit, like FDIC limits, applies to account owners, not to individuals. In that case a married couple can each have their own individual account, plus a joint account, for a total of 3. If you've got more than $150 million to invest you should each have a retirement account. Even if you've only got a few million, trusts are a useful tool to protect your assets. Any trust you create will be a separate legal entity, and therefore a separate account o

How to disperse multi-million dollar winnings?
I think that's a big mistake. After paying 45% in taxes, why would you even entertain the idea of giving more than that away to Uncle Sam. If you want to give your sister that much, then split the lottery with her. She'll walk away with $12.5 million instead of the $10 million you intended on giving her, but if that's a problem, you can set it up so that she gifts the additional 2.5 million back to you and it would be tax free.
Or give her enough to pay off all her bills and retire, say $4 m

Wealth accumulation
For most of our lives we are in a wealth accumulation phase. Then we retire and are in a wealth management phase.
With a lottery win we will be in the highest tax bracket and annual tax audits by the IRS.
Personally I will be surprised and astounded when I win. I will not do a Press event. I will ask for minimal publicity here in California.
Because , I ask myself How would I like turning over my photo and personal information that can be found on the internet to a criminal. ?

How many Millions would set you for life?
I'm surprised at the numbers I'm seeing here. I've (presumably) got many years ahead of me, and my calculations put the number lower than most of the ones in this thread by at least a full order of magnitude.
$1M would not be enough to retire on at my age. Simple fact.
$2M would be enough to maintain my current standard of living, assuming my investments at least keep up with inflation.
$3M would be comfortable.
Anything more than that is gravy.

pick 3 system that really works most of the times
Nothing to see here this is just another recycled WIND system. Destiny provided the link same concept. This mumbo jumbo has been around here forever. The WIND post was from 11 years ago. Texas runs 4 draws a day for players like me on a budget this will just not cut it. 48 possible combinations each draw. I would go broke. No thanks I am better off following DannyboyHouston at least he has an idea of what playing on a budget is. Did you forget some people are playing on a budget? I am retired. N
