Teddi,
That was an excellent point you made about asking your pharmacist. Doctors are so busy with getting people in and out, they may not take the time to tell you everything you need to know. In your case asking may have saved your life.
I vote for health. Watching a loved one deteriorate in a nursing home for nine months due to several strokes and cancer before eventually passing, will show you real quick how important good health is.
Btw, Martin Shkreli got his. As they say

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Yes you are stating the obvious here. I reacted to your use of the word padding. To me that suggests that you are implying that the FL Lottery is placing winning tickets in certain areas. So I'm pointing out that this would be against basic security fraud prevention protocols that all lotteries enforce, and actually not even possible (given these policies are stringently followed and collusion is kept in check; obviously there could be corruption but I don't think we can assume there is any goin

Maine gives names of Hot Lotto winners to Iowa team looking into rigging scheme
The names of Mainers who won cash prizes in the Hot Lotto game between 2010 and 2014 have been forwarded to Iowa officials investigating a burgeoning jackpot fixing case that may have affected winnings in at least five states.
Officials with the Maine State Lottery said Hot Lotto winners and prize amounts were shared with the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigations. To date, investigators have not discovered any link between Maine Hot Lotto winners and Eddie Tipton, a former security offic

Letter sent to 360 elected officials and investigatory agencies regarding fraud within NYS Lottery
Dec 11, 2015
To the NYS Legislative and Investigatory agencies,
I a filing an official complaint against the NYS Lottery division and its distribution center GTECH. For the purposes of this complaint I am going to refer to NYS Scratch off game # 596 1 million a year for life as an example but it is for all games.
NYS Lottery started game 596 in Sept of 2008. This game had 6 tops prize and 50 2nd prize winners. The end of game was called for this game for August 11, 2016, that

Driven to death by phone scammers
The phone calls wouldn't stop.
The man on the other end of the line made promises of a big payoff: millions of dollars in prize money. But first the IRS needed $1,500 in taxes, he insisted, then the jackpot would arrive at the family home, a camera crew ready to capture the excitement.
The calls came a couple of times a day; other times, nearly 50.
Mr. Albert, we need the money to be sent today ...
Don't hang up the phone, Mr. Albert ...
Mr. Albert, don't tell your wife about this

Illinois lottery winners file class-action lawsuit against state
I was wondering why it was taking so long for someone to sue to get their money. About time. I still don't understand why they are being allowed to sell tickets when they have no plans on actually paying anyone until they feel like it. It most certainly is fraud. How many ponzi schemers are serving jail time right now because they promised to pay out money and didn't, yet these idiots should be given a pass because they get to hide behind bureaucratic red tape? Absolutely not. Hopefully this cas

North Carolina: 8/1 - 8/31/2015
I agree. They real stick it to us now. Seems everything is crooked and all they care about is getting people $$$$$. I don't want to be a million-air but I would like to get a $100,000 or so. But, with the way they have the odds for us and them now they get keep about 75% and we end up with 25% or less..Now days much less..... The pay out have been laughable this month and last month also. I see where they are even paying the Sandy Hook Hoax school shooting crisis actors by CT. Lottery now. Do a

Illinois Lottery not paying big winners because state legislature won't pass budget
If ever there was a reason to never take an annuity payment here it is. So many people here have told me payment is guaranteed regardless of what's going on in the state or country, and I've always said believing anything is 100% guaranteed when it comes to money is insane.
Seriously, who would have thought that they could tell you, we acknowledge you won,we know we're contracted to pay you, but we've opted not to pay you until we work out our own stalemate .
I'm really surprised there are

Texas legislature to consider lottery winner anonymity bill
Venom, while you point out concerns of something that might happen. That's where you would normally get an atty. and have them do the due diligence anyway. Fraud and the DUI and theft are all crimes that are public and can be prosecuted. The prosecutor does not reveal anyone's financial status to the victim unless it is part of the discovery to be used in that case. As far as a DUI and the paralysis, Civil tort claims have a 2 year statute of limitations to them and almost all crimes have a stat

State lotteries head to Washington to enforce states' rights on gambling
Yes TnT, you certainly are 110% correct about what they think....They have that good ole boys/girls club mentality of we know best...Allowing the feds to control lottery spending across state lines is just another foothold on total control of every facet of your life and what's coming down the road.Kind of a Socialism 101 , so to speak. If they get their hands in control of any money generating program.....well..we all know what that's going to mean...more tax and more control , especially contr
