Lotto Texas $83.5 million jackpot winner says she was denied payout
A woman who came forward to claim an $83.5 million Lotto Texas jackpot this week says she was denied a payout while the win undergoes a state investigation. [checks date of article, looks at calendar] That poor woman. How can they treat her so unfairly and make her wait at least 4 or 5 days for her money? Have they no sense of decency? How does one trust a courier service when buying a lotto ticket that could be worth millions? I've wondered about that. They'd be crazy to keep

Get your sidewalk chalk, go outside to a nice workspace and start looking. AI can't do it for you. You can read every article it spits and you still have one path to finding the starting point you seek. I'm getting back to cleaning Yaqui. We/he/she/it sees a 47 set breakdown in 2step. Some are worthless. Some borderline. And some worth more attention. The answer you seek, grasshopper, lies at the last place you look.

$83.5 million Lotto Texas jackpot won by a single ticket
I read an article where the Texas Governor visited the store that sold the ticket. There is a video posted on X about the visit. The former Texas lottery director is being investigated among other issues the 95 million win. I think things are not that good in Texas lottery wise, lawsuits will pop up left right and center. If I lived in Texas I would pause playing for a while till all this is resolved. Heads will roll

Tennessee Lottery launches online Powerball sales to combat competition from sports betting
I was going to pontificate about the dangers of using credit cards .... that is until I read the whole article where it says bank or credit union transfer accounts would be used. This measure prevents people( problem gamblers) from going cuckoo with purchasing tickets. Now I have a problem with this online stuff 'cuz it would obviously prevent you from remaining anonymous after you win the jackpot correct? Maybe someone here sees it differently than me. I wonder would online include choo

Missouri: 12/1 - 12/31/2024
Congrats to all the winners so far in December!. Anyone have an article on this site that explains vtracs? Like to know more about their frequency and how it applies to pick 4 in Missouri. @MzDuffleBagLady if you have one out there let me know. As I get lucky every once in awhile, I had been playing and waiting on 8865 since Oct 2023! Hit the reverse tonight for $500! I'm good with that as it feeds my lottery habit a bit longer. Though I saw someone forecasting 5688, which would have

California lottery vetting process
I just read an article about the Orange County man that won the 44 million powerball on aug 19. He said he immediately submitted the claim but after 9 weeks still hasn't received the money. It seems most states process in about 14 days but California says the fastest is 4 weeks with them. I'm curious if anyone knows do they also pay out the interest during however many weeks it takes to pay?? Because if not they have an incentive to drag their feet if they keep the interest themse

Very interesting article
The article discusses the usage of a probability concept towards complex things, like science or life events. I prefer to use the term likelihood rather than probability in those cases. A lottery drawing is so incredibly simple, there is no question that the probability of an outcome can be calculated precisely. Even for more complex games, such as blackjack, the house edge can be calculated exactly, but only for the first hand of the deck. To estimate the house edge for the average hand

Florida's PICK 5 & Fantasy 5
An article from NBC6 South Florida on the 88888 coming out: Over 170 Floridians won the Pick 5 during Tuesday night's drawing, but what made the drawing unique was that the winning numbers were all the same. The winning numbers in Tuesday night's drawing were 8,8,8,8,8, with 5 as the Fireball number. With 177 players winning the Pick 5, the Florida Lottery paid out $7 million. The following chart shows the breakdown of the winners and payout: According to
