I won $3 on my single $1 mega millions ticket last night (1 numbers plus mega ball), so the only $2 powerball ticket I bought at the same time, was essentially free. I'm a believer in 1 set of numbers, leave it up to fate. Even if you have 175,000 sets of numbers, that only covers 1/10th of 1% of the 175 million combinations of numbers. Back in March, an NBA player bought 10,000 mega millions tickets, but he didn't win the jackpot.

YES... once again math does factor in,but in bits and pieces of equations to come up with a number or percentage. For those in disbelief it is because you won't hit all the time, just like the best NBA player with knowledge of how to play will take the best shot and hit like I do in the Lottery regularly and win!!!

Anyone who plays for awhile and has the winning numbers walk between the raindrops of thier numbers may from time to time think that something is up, but on the whole, along with what Savagegoose said, I trust the lottery more than the NFL, the NBA, boxing and horse races. Watch enough football and basketball games and if you're aware of the pointspread you'll see some that you'll swear they are platying to 'fit the number'.
