Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
With the $5 price tag on the Measly and the PB going multinational...what the geniuses should do is bring the dollar game back with the old odds from Mega Millions maybe even add 1 number to the Mega Ball, draws on Thursday Sunday and let it roll.....That will tell them what the players really want.

EXCLUSIVE: Weeks-long computerized draw error prevented many DC Lottery tickets from winning a prize
We need the ball machine to be examined in NC. We recently had 9 consecutive doubles drawn and 14/16 overall. What are the odds of that? Seems unlikely to me

DC 5 Lottery needs to be audited immediately. The same thing that happened to Tennessee in 2007
Just saw this after I posted on the same topic. I noticed it today while just seeing what numbers were coming out in states other than FL. I was shocked. Any student of the games knows this is beyond abnormal. I can't imagine what DC players think. Definitely looks like an inside job. And its the only simple way to fix the game with favorable odds guaranteeing tax-free prizes.

NY Dream Team
If she did it would have been a $90 dollar wager . 4 to 1 is good odds providing you don't catch a losing streak

Probability of winning with multiple tickets
I'm 99.9999% positive I've used that explanation in previous exchanges with Coin Toss, but as you can see the concept is still too elusive. 99.999 Any real crap's dealer could easily explain, even though there are six ways to roll a 7 and three ways to roll a 4 or 10, why the odds are expressed as 2 to 1 . You must be feeling brave or lucky to bring up reciprocals when we've got people that can't understand that 2/4 and 1/2 are the same thing. Yep, over five pages ago it was thoro

Probability of winning with multiple tickets
Tucker Black, You're getting in your own way with odds, probabilities, etc. ad nauseam. Speaking of flipping coins the Park casino in Vegas had a very popular game, two females would toss two coins and the bets were two heads, two tales and one of each. PS, 292 divided by 2 and 2 divided by 292 have vastly different answers.

Washington DC Pick 5 1 in 200 million odds
I see what you're saying. ChatGPT has extremely limited analytical capability. This is yet another example of where it fails. Anyone can calculate 0.3^16. It has no value. Odds are for future unknown events. Odds have no meaning for past events. If you are trying to prove their drawings are not random, you need way more than 16 drawings for a statistical proof. Pick 5 hasn't been around long enough for that amount of data. After 100 years of drawings then you can do statistical tests.

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
You sure do stress yourself over one dollar, Yeesh. Any $1 that could win an extra $1,000,000 is a good bet. END OF STORY. The only approach to playing a game with such odds is once you buy a ticket consider the money spent gone and anything that comes back is gravy.
