Lottery Post Downtime Wednesday Evening
As those who tried to visit Lottery Post after 8:15 PM Wednesday evening were undoubtedly aware, the site was down for the entire evening. Operations were restored at approximately 2:30 AM Thursday morning. The problem was not related to the Lottery Post Web site, its server technology, or anything else under our control. The data center housing our servers experienced a massive power outage that affected even backup systems.I apologize for the downtime, as I'm sure it was frustrating for many

Psychic predictions (I am getting results
Quote: Originally posted by dragon on July 20, 2004There is a problem I see with predictions on pari-mutuel systems, like the big pick-6 lotteries. Some of us have been challenged about posting our predictions, but it really makes no sense to publish your numbers of you are playing actively. What are the odds that you might actually post some winning numbers? A couple of week ago I posted my MegaMillions picks and when Todd congratulated me on a match three another poster wanted to be congrat

Psychic predictions (I am getting results
For Todd:There is a problem I see with predictions on pari-mutuel systems, like the big pick-6 lotteries. Some of us have been challenged about posting our predictions, but it really makes no sense to publish your numbers of you are playing actively. So I have been posting my predictions after the draws in blogs -- kind of awkward, but ok. But if members think we're cheating -- we really should be using the predictions section.Would it be possible to allow us to predict pick-6 numbers accordi

anyone try the cruncher p3 for p4
Jeff,You are certainly not reaching, there is a potential here. I would interesting to see what would happen when you are tracking the following 3 Numbers123 (Front)124 (First two and Last one)134(First and Last two)and 234 (End Numbers)Tha might take a bit longer but might give more interesting results, but when you keep in mind that CRUNCH in the current version ins Boxed/Straight oriented this might give you better results to combine the results. Just a thought though.Once the new updated CR

Ever want to play in other States?
Quote: Originally posted by BobP on June 14, 2004 I can't really say whether lotteries are fixed though I would never play in a computer drawn game, that's for sure. Most people think of fixed meaning who wins is predetermined. However, the lottery wins when everyone loses. It would not be all that hard when the amount wagered on each Pick-3 and Pick-4 number is known prior to the draw, to make sure a particular digit necessary to complete a over subscribed number isn't drawn. When all is

something wrong with lottosync v1.6 ?
I don't have a problem with creative effort - I encourage it. I do have a problem when qualifications are bandied around to support Systems. As far as I am concerned you can be studying to be a sex worker or garbage collector (male, female or non-gender, of course) and have as much credibility. (One of the things I like about the Lottery Post is that letters after your name are not paraded.)We all make mistakes and sometimes just have to ditch what we've done because of some fatal error even tho
