CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
I've had a lot of trouble locating LFL - it's especially aggrivating too because the retailers have signage posted throughout the store advertising the game too!
My theory is that the retailers are waiting to finish a roll before opening a pack of LFL up...likely this is true for machine - vending retailers. I am hoping that at my local retailer, his vending machine as two $250M rolls ($10) inside, hopefully when one of the rolls is finished, he will replace it with LFL.
Will post my resul

Unclaimed Idaho Lottery prizes add up to millions
Hey - I shop there regularly! In fact, I was just there. And yes, I have used that vending machine, mostly for when I'm in a superstitious mood and I want to buy a ticket at 11:11 am. That's just a weird thing I do once in awhile, usually on a Sunday morning. And that's when I'm *hoping* there are no scratch-off buyers standing there hogging it! Cos yeah... ya know.
So if you're ever near the vending machine at 11:11 am and there's some lady with multicolored hair and sunglasses hogging it,

Lottery vending machine in Monticello, NY
This morning I went back to Mighty M Gaming at Monticello Raceway and won $12.50 on video poker. I also ate a half-price lunch buffet there (with coupon), after buying $10 of New Jersey Pick-6 and $4 of Pennsylvania Match 6.
I know Pennsylvania has self-service ticket machines (and Ohio has had them for many years) but today was the first time I knew NY had any. These are the kinds where you put in a betslip and a ticket comes out (rather than scratch-ticket vending machines.) At Mighty M the

Scratchers - counter or vending machine?
Georgia has a sleek new vending machine. I tried it out recently and didn't win anything, but I'm sure that the odds are still the same whether we use a vending machine or not.
The only difference is when we use the clerk's knowledge of what has and hasn't hit recently.

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
One other thing worth noting about their collection/destruction of tickets is something I was told by .. let's say a Lotto employee (go with me for a moment, it's long):
When new games come out, lottery pushes retailers to stock the new games and even run incentive programs where retailers can win entries into a prize drawing (link) based on the books they activate. All retailers are expected to activate new games the day they come out (or the day they receive them). Publix, and any store wit

Any NJ Scratcher's?
I'm an NJ scratcher. I can't say if NJ is better or worse than other states, because the only other state I play in is NY. In NY, the prizes are higher for tickets $5 and up, e.g the typical top prize for a $5 ticket is $1 million, and in NJ it's $150k. However, in NY, you get paid over 20 years; in NJ, it's all at once (except for the Win For Life games).
I look at the NJ lottery web site and read the details on the various scratchers. You can learn a lot this way and make more informed deci

I'm done playing the lottery
I have had lottery vending machines take my money before and the store I was at usually fixed the problem by either giving me scratch offs from the counter or giving me my money back. That isn't something the lottery handles, it should be the store with the vending machine fixing it. They are operating it and not some representative from the state lottery. The employee where you went didn't want to deal with it, you should have asked to speak to a manager.

Three $1 million winning Powerball lottery tickets sold at the same New York store
I'm sure the lottery already looked at the stores security cameras along with ticket print times to know if it was only one person or not. Not sure if New York has vending lotto machines, but I had a issue once with a Michigan Lottery vending machine and customer support looked up the transaction from the last 4 digits of my debit card. The Lottery knows but there not going to give that info out for security reasons.
