Tennessee Lottery takes back refund offer
It seems that with each passing error on thier part that the TN lottery folks just continue to get more brazen. I hope that the upcoming investigation results in a shake-up there, and that they start giving the consumers what they want and deserve! Stop computerized drawings!

Indiana Lottery finds $13,000 mistake
This error occurred when the vendor entered an incorrect draw date identification number, a lottery news release said Wednesday.
The mistake could affect 201 tickets, most for amounts of $41 or $44.
This error did not in any way impact the actual drawing or selection of the winning Hoosier Lotto numbers, said Kathryn Densborn, the lottery's executive director.
It involved the calculation of ticket redemption values and the validation and payment of 4 of 6, and 5 of 6 winning number

Official wants fraud probe of Tennessee Lottery
UPDATED (Aug. 28, 2007, 11:44 am) Internal documents added
The Tennessee Lottery should investigate whether fraud was behind a computer malfunction that affected the results for Cash 3 and Cash 4 games, the lottery board's audit chairman says.
James H. Ripley, a Sevierville attorney who heads the 3-year-old lottery's audit group, said the agency should probe more deeply into why a computer software problem prevented duplicate numbers from being drawn for a three-week period.

Tennessee Lottery computerized drawings flawed since inception
Once the Tennessee Lottery realizes that nothing can be done to stop them from manipulating their games, they'll begin cheating players openly, with no apologies, like the Hoosier Lottery does now.
LosingJeff and I have PROVEN, beyond ANY doubt, that switching to an electronic drawing format DOES NOT save a lottery ANY money. Since details of our investigation appeared in two newspaper articles, state lotteries no longer use the money-saving ploy. Instead, they now espouse keeping up

Dos Lottery Software 16 bit
Every so often I get an idea and drag out a copy of an old dos or win 3.1 software to test it only to be stopped by the error message it is not a 32 bit application. Some dos programs like GH and LD do run under XP, but say not the original Super Lotto Master. Outside of setting up a dos machine, any ideas? BobP
