Texas lottery considers eliminating lotto balls
Balls falling and bouncing are random by nature, computers are random only when people program them to be and people are lazy some times.A few years ago the Ohio Lottery had a drawing for lottery losers. To play, one mailed in a loosing lottery ticket which was to be randomly drawn. When the contest was over, some one noticed that most of the winners work at the local post office near lottery headquarters. It turn out that postal workers stucked their envelopes in the mail bags last and when

Played some Lotzee tonight!
I never play that game, except now that NJ is ending the game on Saturday I have to play tonight and Saturday! Those who have never heard of Lotzee, you're not missing much. It's really strange. Basically, you can pick 4 numbers between 0 and 76 (or get a QP), and if they match you get $500,000. Then, the lottery machine gives you two more sets of 4 numbers (also between 0 and 76) - QPs only - and if you match all 4 of either set you get $100,000. Likewise, you get 4 more sets of 4 numbers to

Do lottery systems really work?
lottowiz, just like the other people that have won using quick picks, i am not depending on a machine. although the lottery is random, my life is not. there is more to this story than you know. i have done my part by buying a ticket. the rest will be a waiting game as to whether i was meant to . in life one can only do and manipulate to a certain degree, the rest is up to fate (in my case, God).as for me it's pretty simple math. either i am wacked in my belief or i know what i am talking about.

Pick 3 players wanted!!
This techniques is profitable. Practical? Ofcourse not. However what is practical about playing a game whos odds of winning is 1 in 1000? If we were practical people, we would not play the lottery. As for your Lottery retailer. He/She should not care. They get paid $.03 on every ticket sold, plus a percentage of all winning tickets sold and or cashed at their establishment.100 numbers/ 5 numbers per slip= 20 slips. Retailer's machine can process 1 slip every 30 seconds. 20 slips X 30 seco

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
I think what winoneday meant was that it was bad luck for the house. In the long run, the average jackpot won will equal the expected value. In a game like this, a drawing every few days with odds of 1 in 300 million, the long run could be many years.
In a short period of time, the players can be lucky which means the house (MUSL) is unlucky.
Unlike other games like pick 3 or any table game or slot machine in a casino, where more jackpots are good for business because the long run for th

Pennsylvania Lottery releases its own Cash Pop draw game
I had another interaction with Cash Pop in Pennsylvania yesterday. I played a mix of Match6, Powerball, P3 and P4 on a vending machine. I fed my slips in and while it was cranking my tickets out, the screen pops up and says my free ticket had been generated. I didn't know I had a free ticket coming. When I sorted through the tickets after I got home, there was a Cash Pop ticket among them. I had played $4 in P3 and apparently playing a P3 generates a chance you'll get a free Cash Pop QP.

Lotto Fast Games - Win Whenever you Want
Physical access to the lotto kiosks allow the following lotto win hack:
1. Obtain access to a lotto kiosk or machine. Create image of software and firmware.
2. Reverse engineer the bootup sequence, including electron microscope examination of communication secrets (secret keys) secured on the TPM (hardware chip like the Trusted Platform Module)
3. Modify software so that when a special key sequence is entered at the kiosk, a winning play is created and signed with valid key, and

MegaMillions ticket reprint fraud by a store associate?
maybe you'll get lucky in win a double prize
That depends ( apart from a lot of luck for this to happen, of course ) on how the lottery system handles these reprints - given that the reprinted ticket has all the different LK/RK values on it, I bet the system works in a way that if a reprint is requested, the failed ticket ID / barcode is invalidated in the backend (as it is assumed that it was stuck in a printer or something similar), so we technically don't have double tickets.

Accidental lottery ticket purchase nets Maryland couple $2 million in Powerball
Yes, the message was meant for you. IGT=International Gaming Technology; WOF=Wheel of Fortune.
Our machines also have a total touch screen but no replay feature per se. If you win I think under $50 it asks if you want credit or delete. One game, Cashball 225 you may win a free ticket here and there and it'll print a new ticket with different #'s.
Here when you call the KY help desk it really goes to RI IGT service center and I think it got cut down to 7 states. They are very good and hav
