This is how it works and not one person in this forum can prove otherwise. I can prove otherwise. Its called parimutuel wagering. The Lotteries can keep as much of the money as they want, without expensive programs or cheating. Randomness? Yes balls are ramdomly drawn from the machine, but the balls themselves are numbered in an orderly consecutive manner which makes part of the event not ramdom.

Financial security. I'd go into more detail, but since you are a college kid, I don't want to scare you with what the real world has waiting for you, long days, longer days, maybe a couple of marriages and divorces, child support, deadlines, crappy neighbors, liars, cheats, cheating spouses, broken promises, the deaths of loved ones. It would be nice if lottery officials saw this poll and considered it. Unfortunately for Tennesseans, they couldn't care less what we think or want. They're still mad at us cuz we caught 'em cheating with the computers. The last time I called to complain, the lady on the phone said she'd rather have a chronic yeast infection for ten years straight rather than talk to me again. That wasn't very good customer service if you ask me.

or the area up in Fon du Lac Wisc, known as the miracle mile, selling as many jackpot winners as it has Wisconsin had five PB jackpot winners, Fon du Lac is one of them, and that was won by the 100 Miracles trust. York, PA had two PB jackpot winners. Fon du Lac had more than its fair share of other game jackpot winners and the PB jackpot is icing on the cake. I doubt anyone can logically explain without substantial evidence of cheating how one area can produce so many jackpot winners. T

All lottery games appear to evade the numbers most everybody picks. That's the way they're designed. They're not supposed to be won a lot. If they were, they wouldn't be around long. The odds are against you and everybody else equally based on similar bets. There have been cases of players being cheated out of winnings too though. I wouldn't play more state games or any state games period no matter what the price went to. I live in Tennessee where they draw numbers with computers and they've been caught cheating us before. I don't get fooled again. I'll play state games again when they go back to real ball drawings. Until then I'll keep buying the state games in Virginia as a lot of us have been for a long time.

A pre-draw is a series of tests that the lotteries run to ensure that the same number doesn't come out of a machine. Leave it to Tennessee to suggest solving the problem by screwing the players just a little bit more.
