BTW, I rated this topic good and the stars began to flash. But then I got an error message about fetching data. Now there is no rating. I tried again and got the same message. (used both IE-7 and Netscape 8.1)

When I started this I had 20 most of which I had to get the cash amount by Googling for newspaper articles from just after the win. Since everyone on the list choosed the cash amount it was fairly easy. My earlier lists included a CA superlotto win that I could never find a good cash amount for. Later I pared it down to 15. Just drop the first digit,dewman,and work with your last 3 digits. That's what I always do. You can try both ways,of course. Right now it's all trial and error so there are no wrong answers or mistakes! I think of it like clay, just keep on molding until you get the right shape.

I guess what I am confused about here is why is this the first time I'm hearing about the instant win in New York. Why isn't it advertised on their website? I shouldn't be too surprised I guess because when I tried to purchase an advance draw NY Lotto ticket last year no one knew how to, until one clerk decided to experiment and figured it out by trial and error (no misprint tickets). I believe I might have posted this when it happened.

Oh, that's a good idea. However, I wonder what would happen if there was an error? I went to the do it yourself car wash a couple of days ago and put my dollar into the change machine. I held my breath during those 5 seconds I waited until the quarters came shooting out! I'm sure we've all lost a dollar or 2 in a vending machine.
