Lottery flub pays off: Michigan co-workers win $1M
It's very simple oate.
Let's say you join a pool at work. There are 50 people in the pool and everyone contributes $2.
That's 50 tickets. If one of them wins, you get 1/50th of the winnings.
You weren't going to buy 50 tickets on your own, maybe just 5 at a cost of $10.
For $12, you have 55 chances of winning instead of just the 5 you were going to buy anyway.
You can also look at it this way...You aren't the organizer of the pool and just put up your $2 like everyone else and th

What tool will compute all 3,4,5 digit combinatons with repeats of a pool of 100 numbers
What you created is perfect. I have three pools of numbers and I want to generate those combinations like you did for each of the three pools. The final step is to see if there is any overlap in the 3,4, 5, digit combinations of the three pools.
Example: pool 1: 2,3,5,7,8,9,7,5,4,5,6,,7,8,8,6,4,3,5,,8,8
Pool 2: 2.4.5.7.8.9..0.0.0.0.0.9.7.7,6..5
Pool 3:5,6,,8,9,9,,4,4,3,3,2,3
Create 3,4,5 digit combos for each pool. (What you show above)
Final step: what 3,4,5 digit combinatio

Take5 NY
My guess is they took it off the top. I think they lowered the percentage of daily sales that's allocated to be paid back to players. The current pay back allocation is 50%. I think they lowered it to 50% from a higher number/percentage.
If, during any given day, they sold one million lines (therefore they took in one million dollars) the state keeps half ($500,000), and the other half (the prize pool) is used to pay all of the winning lines sold that day.
The split of the prize pool among

My Pick 3 Hit Statistics: How Do They Compare To Throwing Darts On A Wall?
Hi everyone! I'm back-testing and fine-tuning a Pick 3 Strategy and I need a Sanity Check regarding my hit statistics. I'd like to know how the results below compare to Random Play.
Results over 18 draws:
0 matched of 3: 3 (Pool Sizes: 24, 36)
1 matched of 3: 7 (Pool Sizes: 8, 12, 20, 24, 27, 64, 90)
2 matched of 3: 6 (Pool Sizes: 48, 48, 48 72, 100, 150)
3 matched of 3: 2 (Pool Sizes: 75, 100) ***JACKPOT***
Thanks!

(New member) Have any of you broken down a keno game?
Using the pool of 10 table above, I can say (with reasonable certainty) that if I pick 10 random numbers from a pool of 80, I can expect 0-6 of them to be correct.
This will hold true 99.82% of the time or put another way:
Total sub-pools of 10 from pool of 80 1,646,492,110,120
In range 0-6 1,643,528,424,322
out of range 2,963,685,798
If I look at 8 non-overlapping pools (1-10,11-20,...,71-80), I can predict that each one of them will still fall within 0-6 numbers drawn

Would you re join your family lottery pool if..
this happened in my family pool. one bro is sick and out of work. once his balance reached zero I asked other members if they wanted to cut him out and we had a vote. non wanted him out. so we pay for tickets and if we win he gets an equal share. i do keep track of his missing contributions. and when he gets back on his feet and contributes the family fund will get an extra $5 a month from him till the difference is paid off.
thats just how our family roll.
im guessing if 2 of the 5 d

Now that four days has gone by in this November, I can assure Str8 Pairs for the month. These can be split as well.
Let's see how they do for the remainder of the month. Good Luck!

The old pool stuff is still in place, website, bank account, debit card etc.. I just don't have the time.
I spent hundreds of hours on the pool and I am sure that JW put in a lot of hours into the website.
Maybe some day I will devise some sort of software that will test a persons abilities to predict the
needed values. If I ever set up another pool I don't think the members will know who else is in the
pool and each member will be given a software that's specific to the

$485 MILLION: Powerball jackpot raised
Seriously?
I actually run an office pool with 19 members, and a smaller one with 5 members. We are playing for the jackpot, and we each buy tickets on the side looking to win the jackpot individually. I highly doubt someone buying a ticket for themselves is going to say, well I'll just split it with the other 18 members of the pool even though they had their own set of tickets.
The purpose of the pool is to, well, pool your money and buy more tickets so you can win the jackpot. Plus it's
