Wouldn't common sense tell you to wait for the check before speaking?
I saw an interrogation where a Woman named Josephine was a Cashier at a cigarette store that also sold lottery tickets. She told the undercover investigator that the winning lottery ticket was a loser and then went to another store and verified that it was a winner. When he took it out of the machine he ripped it but she said she could just tape it and she filed a claim form for it.
A cop who was in on the investigation told her a while later that her winning check was ready and he'd gi

**NCEL - North Carolina Lottery Rigging**
You know who I have the most empathy for? The people that don't have a disposable means of income and play NCEL with a dream of hitting something. I have seen people come in with a pocket full of change and put their last dollar to buy a ticket. Granted, this may not be the smartest thing to do, but NC makes it seem like it is easy to win. Most times, they will end up with a losing ticket. Sad that our state and lottery does not have any morals or values.
I understand they need to make $$,

UK man says £6.5 million lottery prize was stolen by retailer clerk
He handed the ticket to the man behind the counter, who then put it through a machine.
Maybe 30 or 40 years ago, but today there are hundreds of ways to check the numbers on a ticket. Why do people buy lottery tickets that could be worth millions and then hand it to someone they don't know and ask them how much they won?
I had the bank print off the statement, and she found the ticket through that and that is when I learned it was a 6.5 million ticket.

5 tickets. I thought I had 6.
I went to a supermarket after getting tickets already. Realized I forgot to get mega millions that Kathia and I play together. I went up to the machine and decided to get one more 218 combo.
It was 2:19pm and 4 seconds. The ticket went through as Eve not midday. Cutoff I guess. 5 seconds sooner woulda have another ticket.
208 and 218 were my heavy plays today. Finally I won again

Washington man finds winning lottery ticket worth $2 million in his car window
in Texas I think the winning ticket must be signed.
It might be hard to sign a ticket that went through the washing machine, but you can definitely sign a ticket that has been faded because of heat. The problem will be whether or not they'd accept a ticket that's not completely legible (I've never felt the need to read the detailed rules that presumably cover damaged tickets). Out of curiosity I heated the back of an old ticket to see what happened. The front went black very easily, but the

Hi there CAPE - I checked around - Walmart and Publix have LFL - even a few gas stations have them as well - I thought LFL was recently 'reordered'?
The game has about $42M left in total ticket value - compared to $20 GR with $168 M and Black GR $30 ticket with $191M (if my eyes read right:)
Anyway the 'hunt' for LFL I enjoyed for months is no longer ........ I bet the game will sell out fast now - I would guess a lot of people never saw LFL in the machine before - not at least in the past

Wisconsin Mega Bucks
Well I was planning to pick my own MB numbers because the QP algorithm has been getting ridiculous lately but I was in a hurry yesterday and took a chance on a vending machine at the grocery store. I didn't even get a chance to look at the ticket until I got home much later in the day. Needless to say I'm less than thrilled with what I got:
X X X 25 26 27
What the heck is up with sequential numbers suddenly? It happens with every single QP now. It started out with two sequential numbers

Pa. Lottery blames growth of skill games, lack of big jackpots for drop in profits
The growing proliferation of so-called skill games at Pennsylvania Lottery retailers are having an impact on the lottery's ability to generate revenue to pay for programs for senior citizens, a lottery official told state lawmakers on Tuesday.
Lottery executive director Drew Svitko told lawmakers skill games could lead to a $200 million decline in scratch-off ticket sales this year. That is a bigger loss than the $115 million hit last year.
Svitko attributed the higher projection to the ri

Thanks, Nookbrooke!! It was bugging me trying to remember when I had got that ticket and then I recalled that I had posted a note about it here at the time and went about looking it up.
Turns out I got it March 15th, and I hadn't recalled it exactly correctly yesterday...I had actually drawn another book in the machine down to 000 and the slot still showed avail so I drew more and the next one that pops out was the ticket I posted yesterday, the first in a new book (as we know Publix count

Hey Starbolt, if I recall this has come up previously here, as the Fl Lottery had the ole L4L ending in Dec 2018 but ended up keeping it going into 2019. If I recall from earlier posts, some well informed folks here have reviewed book #s against top prizes announced and have found some extended gaps, which infer that some winning tics were either destroyed as partial books were pulled from mainstream retailers which don t carry this game anymore (think Publix), or ticket holders missed a winning
