Before this current reset JP it would be $100-$300k increase per draw. Lately I don't know what's wrong. May 2nd the reset was $1 mil JP / $400k cash option and only the cash option is slowly creeping up - it just made $800k cash option a few weeks ago. Still $1 million JP. terrible sales = no jackpot growth

I've noticed a lot of people just like to use social media to complain - I wonder if there is a correlation between an increase of social media and laziness. Crazy how I see a lot of younger kids go out and just sit in a group - but be on their phones and not actually talk to each other. Most people do not think before they post on social media sadly. ESPECIALLY if you just won the MM or PB like the thread suggests -

Hello, I emailed the lottery commission. Here is the message: In 2012, the rules were changed to help generate bigger jackpots. The price of tickets were raised to 2 USD, the jackpot starting point was at 40 Million with minimum rollover of 5 Million. Now what we have is a lower jackpot and lower rollover than in the past but the same price of 2 USD. With these changes, it will not surprise me if the powerball game ends up not generating sales.
