Scratch-Off - Home or at the store
I first saw this and thought it was a poll about other people who scratch at the counter. I don't usually buy scratch-offs, but I wait until I get home the few times that I do. If players leave the customer service area and scratch on a bench outside, I don't care since it's none of my business. But I don't like it when someone buys 10 tickets and stays by the counter. I know why some people do it. They win $10 and buy more tickets.

POLL: Motivation for playing
Interesting choices you have in poll. For me, it is to win the JP for sure. Of course, winning anything in the second or third tier would be great too.
I really want to retire soon. Been working for the last 44 years and want to just sit back, travel and fish with family.

Should one play if they have others feeding them

Pick 3/computerized cheats/advance plays
Ineresting poll. I'm watching this one.
I'm going to make a whole lot of folks mad with this, but, yes. I believe the computer does detect which numbers have been played and then selects the daily numbers based on the least amount of payouts.

You Just Won $10,000 or More
Well, I thought maybe the reason we were seeing so many multiple prize winners is because they were increasing their play after they won the first largish amount. But according to the poll, the denizens of this board haven't/wouldn't increase their play.
So what gives? Are the peeps who win multiple times just lucky?

Give or take all
In today' society, it's not too absurd to see a poll about someone who has a lot of money suddenly from a JP windfall, and decides to give every penny away.
If you feel like it, please explain why you feel this way about the whole idea. Would it furiate you, or just cavalier about the whole thing.

Should one play if they have others feeding them
Your poll questions ring like a basic course for political push polling, where you get a call that says 'candidate Bad Guy supports abortion and kills babies, would you vote for him and why do you support him if he kills babies?'
The poll was fair enough; should they play, etc. Fair question.
In that framework, sure, why not? You can play, I can play. This is, afterall, still a fairly free country.
I'm a veteran, did my bit, and I've never believed that gave me any special rights. S

Thanks to the edit button, Tntea took out her dictionary and correctly spelled Christmas.
I responded to a poll that just happened to be authored by Tntea. I don't deal with her enough to care that she authored it. I have responded to a lot of polls in the past and been just as outspoken despite who authored it.

It's that time of year again
Depends on the amount.
Might make a good poll: At one point (dollar amount) would someone receiving scrathcers as gifts would rather have just had the cash, since all too often those scratchers given as gifts are losers?
