Georgia Lottery makes three new millionaires
I'm going to retire and get a part-time job. I can't just sit at home, he said. I wonder if these people are just in shock and don't realize just how much they've won. He's 70 years old, has been working his whole life and just won $5 million dollars. Live a little! I wanted to answer him when I read the above comment... Hey, you don't have to sit home. Congrats to all 3. It must be a really great feeling. (just a note: sounds as if his main concern is taking care of his family,

Who really need money?
Well, This is probably the most entertaining post I 've read. I am turning 54 in a couple months. I need money because I have a daughter going to college this fall, and a son going to college in 3 years. I think I tip very well. I don't resent wealthy people, though I suppose I envy them. I sell furniture for a living, really really really want to retire. And.... I really don't quite get why anyone gets so angry and starts calling names and telling someone to @#$% off. And the Bible doe

How would you end your job after You win the powerball this week.
I've been in my job for 19 1/2 years and while I still love the work I do and my immediate colleagues, the company has not improved during that time - if a corporation can be nutz this one sure is. After that length of time I would not quit but I would retire .... LOL I have almost 5 months of back leave time that got put into a disability-like time off savings plan (they changed the way time off was accrued about 8 years ago and were going to just delete all saved up time off but there was suc

How about the Stave Player Sytem?
Primeline is similar to cash graphs. The best systems are the ones that track trends like the ones I and orange have. They only work better than mechanical systems because a little mental elbow grease goes a long way. Systems don't work because they do the same thing over and over, and the house always gets the advantage, and methods work because it changes or morphs with every play. The roulette method I have does that morphing. Each line of tracking is different than the previous line, depe

Restaurant workers split $4 million lottery jackpot
Divided 16 ways, it comes to roughly $287,000 apiece. It's a nice chunk of change, but certainly not enough to retire on. I wouldn't complain. Doesn't sound as if these happy winners are too upset about sharing either. Congratulations to them. Santonur Rashed has something equally important in mind. The native of Bangladesh has been sending money home to his wife. Now he plans to bring her over. I bet he's singing God Bless America tonight. This brings tears to my ey

can someone please tell me how to run a lottery pool?
I am running a lottery pool in my office and I can tell how I do it. We are paid every 2 weeks, so I collect the money every payday Friday. There are 7 members in my pool and we each put up $4 because there are 4 drawings between paydays. I buy a mix of multidraw Powerball and Louisiana Lotto tickets with some being quickpicks and some being numbers we selected. I buy for 4 draws in advance so I don't have to keep going back to the store for tickets and I give a photocopy of the tickets t
