Men threaten discrimination suit against N.M. Lottery
Maybe when you are in your 60s you will look back and reflect on this post, OldSchool. This has nothing to do with accepting personal responsibility. he stopped working in that capacity and retired to tend to his vegetable and flower gardens. Good for him! But not everyone can retire at 60 or 65. Also, you might not realize it, but the above statement is very insulting. Sounds like .. Let's take all the old people and put them in flower gardens to keep them happy. There are pe

How Good is your SYSTEM?
I agree with paurths; Using 1 number for only a year you would win $998,400 !!! If I had that one number system I think I would retire after a couple of years!! Well maybe not. The lotto would close up shop after about 6 months!! ez

You've realized you won the JP, what happens in the next hour for you?
Well... I'd have to double/triple/quadruple check my numbers to make 100% sure I did hit. And if I did have all the numbers, I'd sign the back of the ticket with my heart pounding heavily. Then call my family (only) and let them know the good news..and I know one of them will leak the info to my relatives and before you know it, everyone will know..there goes my privacy. Then I'd have thoughts of how I will retire early(sleep late! woohoo!) and enjoy the rest of my life after I have invested wis

I look at it like this... (odds of winning)
I see it like this. There are 104 chances to win the Usa Mega Millions Jackpot each year. There are also 104 chances to win the Powerball Jackpot each year as well. Thats 208 possible chances to win the Jackpot of either game! In 10 years, thats 2080 chances (and its multiplied if you uy more than 1 ticket!!) Thats not bad at all! You have better odds buying a $1 jackpot lottery ticket and winning the jackpot than you do if you took that same $1 dollar, took it to a casino and tried to tur

Oprah & sudden Riches...
Everything over the 5 million I WILL BLOW EVERY WHICH WAY I CAN, because you can't take it with you That's the kind of thinking that leads so many newly rich people back to their working class roots. It's not so much the amount that makes me say it's poor thinking, but the the idea of not preserving the principal. What will the economy do for the next 20, 30 or 50 years? Right now inflation is low, but so are interest rates. Imagine a few years of high inflation followed by another perio

OHIO ...doubles dream (midday)
Thank you Dave and thank you Bryan. Jani it's always nice to hear from you. I sure hope we at least had everyone playing Doubles today . Nice to anticipate those doubles. Finally an ODD double after 12 even doubles in a row. That was a good feeling. Now I don't have to retire from playing.. LOL To bad about the 7 .....now skipping 40 draws! 120 spins of the wheel and not one digit 7. How do I get myself into these things? LOL Thanks again and I hope lots of folks were doing t

The Golden Ratio 1.618--PhiMatrix
I answered my own question. I reference the California Lottery website and found that the winners on the 10/20 drawing of the MegaMillions received an astounding $2.00 for picking the MegaBall. Man!! with success like that I could retire in say 50,000 years. I also observed that you have to pick at least 4/5 and the MegaBall to receive it looks like around $11,000. Anything under that pays less than $150. I believe I will stick to the Florida games. I am sorry folks but that is just to

Do You Own Gail Howard Software?
But can looking at past results be a true indicator of future results when they change ball sets and/or ball machines once in awhile ? I have my own research, and I can tell you which balls were 'hot' with the last ballset, and have been ice cold since the latest ball change, and right off the top of my head PB #9 comes to mind....... it hit 6-7 times in one ballset, and none since the change, in fact, I don't think it's hit in the last TWO changes. (disclaimer - I could be wrong)
