Who plays more, who loses more?
If $17,571,695 on last night power ball and 70% (as stated is true) then 12,300,186 QPs dollars were spent, while 5,271,509 went to SPs. One store is not an indicator of what is happening overall. Put a poll on LP asking for a head count who plays QPs, SP, and who plays both. And what games they play. I have seen Pick3 and Pick4 players try to get the clerk to put their number in the machine, but they don't play near the QPs of jackpot players. And jackpot players are secretive about their

AWESOME!!!!!!! IT'S ABOUT TIME AND ON A $2 TICKET EVEN. That had to be great to see. I have nothing purchase wise to report, but I do have news. Apparently 75 stores in the state is getting a lottery makeover from the people who promote or print the tickets. I forget who, but it isn't the PA lottery itself. I wish I would have taken a pic.. The guy next to work now has scratching stations. Like stools to sit and play. Huge corkboard to hang up winners along with 60 counter top bins. He

Georgia Lottery Scratch Offs
I am definitely a budget type of guy or I at least try to be. Back when I was up by a lot, I chased a couple times and it only worked one time. Bought like 4 of the $10 Maximum Fortune's and snagged a $500 winner that I still have as a souvenir (they let me keep it after I cashed it). I chased a few times on $5 tickets and it never worked out. I see the chasers all the time, and it never seems to work for them. I want to go up to them sometimes and say Just buy 2-4 tickets and leave, its not

$75,000 California Lottery winner leaves with only $75
UPDATE: Winner was actually undercover inspector By Todd Northrop The search is on for a lottery winner in California who walked away with a much smaller prize than he actually won. A man who went to cash out his Wild West Poker scratch-off lottery ticket at a Palmdale, California, gas station was given $75, but his ticket was actually worth $75,000. Officials are trying to track down the man who went into a Palmdale store and was thousands of dollars short of his winnings. Shamsu

Don Johnson can his tactics work on lotteries
Playing the lottery Power Ball, Mega Millions or Super Lotto, the odds are astronomical and against us. We all have a 50-50 chance of winning or losing. But there are also too many combinations to make up a winning set of numbers. A 1 - in 176 million chance odds. How many people in the U.S. are hoping for a huge windfall, and how many people buy just a few dollars of tickets at the same time. So, the cards in the casino are not that many and that also depends on how many decks they use. Which i

Calif. man knew he won $1M but lost the lottery ticket
You can't convict somebody of a crime simply because a video shows that they were at some particular location. The video needs to show them committing the crime, and it probably needs to appear to have been filmed at the correct time. The video of this guy may offer convincing evidence that he bought a lottery ticket(s), and it may purport to show that happening at the time the winning ticket was sold, but that's not an absolute guarantee. Maybe the equipment was set for the wrong time and he

If the person before you won on a ticket you were going to buy next, would you still buy one?
I only have a few games that I like to play right now, all $20 scratchers. The person in front of me had just won $30 off the game I was going to play. He put it back into the machine and bought a different ticket. I'm not sure how many he bought and which one was the winner, but I decided to not buy the next ticket. What would you do?

A bit of a recap since my last post. After my last $520 win, I decided to try $100 worth maybe two days later or so. I got 4 $20 tickets and 2 $10 tickets. I'm pretty sure the $20 tickets were all Peppermint Payouts, but I know for sure they were all losers. I also got two $10 10X the money tickets which one was a $10 winner. $100 in and $10 out. I then a day or two later went down to play, and started off with some $5 christmas tickets. I played about three losers

Congrats to those posting winners lately! I haven't been playing very much at all. I think since I've posted last I bought one $10 ticket that was a loser. I went to the local sheetz on my way to my parents house and wanted to grab a 10X the money $10 ticket. Sheetz was out, so I got the only $10 ticket in the machine. A $1,000 Frenzy which lost. I never liked the Frenzy tickets to being with. I will probably play a tiny bit here and there but overall I'm done for a while. I
