Your plan spells DISASTER to me! To stick 4 mill in the bank to live on the rest of your life is a sure loser. 4 mill is nothing, especially if you have just made yourself accustomed to an extravagant lifestyle, like blowing 5 mill.
I already have a net of 4 mill in diversified assets - and I feel, I am just starting. I can tell you that 4 mill just sitting in the bank is not a good idea, and not enough to retire on.
As starters, develop the mind set of a millionare. As we ha

Protecting your numbers

I don't understand why anyone would try to choose numbers based on how many others might select them. I play to win, although of course I'd love a large jackpot. But I'd rather win 1/10 of $20 million than 100% of nothing.
BTW, what is the highest number of winners in a single PB or MM game? Has

GA Fantasy-5 Bonus Ball
Konane said:
"I personally wish Georgia would retire Win For Life, replace it with Lotto Georgia 6/46 on Saturday and Fantasy 5 bonus ball draw on Wednesday."
Hey GLC - Are You Listening?!
Great ideas Konane! Prehaps now is a good time to start writing letters to the GLC. I would LOVE to see Lotto Georgia return in it's original format.

You're a tough woman!!!!! what do you do in the Air Force?
ALot of people in the Navy who retire after 20 or more years are crippled... weak knee's, loss of hearing, sore back..... in other words.. beat to death!!!
Just imagine. You buy a winning lottery ticket the morning of your retirement ceremony...

My Income/Asset Range
Pardon me for saying so, but that is a really odd remark.
Do you think that someone who builds a lifetime of likes and dislikes suddenly throws all of that out the window once they get some money?
Are you saying that Lottery Post is only a good place to socialize for people who LOSE PLAYING THE LOTTERY??
Do you think that someone who gets $1 million spends all day, every day on a boat someplace?? (I have to chuckle at the thought, because with the sheer number of millionaires in this c

any success with the new lucky for life?
I assume you mean the Win for Life game???
If so, I had ok luck. Spent $4 on 4 numbers (2 of mine and 2 quickpick, won on my 2) and won $4 from it. The free ticket didn't give me anything.
As for the annuity opiion, I personally think I am going to get kinda old (hell doesn't want me and heaven can't take me). In believing in such, having a weekly (quarterly actually) check coming in and knowing that there is no more Social Security when I retire looks ruther attractive to me. Sorry, but

$315M Mega Millions lottery winners stay on the job
A secretary and six laboratory workers at Kaiser Permanente in California held the winning ticket for the $315 million Mega Millions jackpot but they still came in to work, a company spokeswoman said. The jackpot was the second-richest prize won with a single ticket in the history of lotteries in the United States. The winners, who had chipped in $3 apiece and bought 21 tickets, came into work Wednesday at the medical center in Garden Grove anyway, said Kaiser spokeswoman Barbara Shipnuck. So I was not all that surprised to see that 2 players won the jackpot. I just wish I co

Discarded lottery ticket offers lesson of faith, optimism
It's last Wednesday, and Sharon Parker, a lottery regular from Swissvale, Pennsylvania, wins $16 in the Powerball. It's not exactly enough to retire on, so Sharon does what lottery players do: She plows the $16 back into Thursday's Big Four at a convenience store downtown Pittsburgh near Kaufmann's.That night, when she calls her mother for the numbers, it turns out to be another loss for Sharon, so she tears the tickets in half and drops them in a trash can at Fifth and Smithfield.Back home in Sw
