Florida MegaMoney - 76% payout?
I've never seen the cash value so high. Well, good for him. I just wish we could have shared the joy! The Florida Lottery announced today that MEGA MONEY winner Celso Pereira, 39, of Titusville claimed the December 2 $2 million MEGA MONEY jackpot. Pereira chose the one-time, lump-sum payment option for his winnings in the amount of $1,525,768.00. The winning MEGA MONEY Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Kwik Stop Food Store, located at 530 Cheney Highway in Titusville. The retailer r

Texas Lottery confirms that Quick Picks are not generated by "central computer"
so they confirmed each terminal has a separate rng. but do they control what seeds are allowed to be used to began their so called random rng routine? every night the terminal machines go down between certain hours do they up date there firmware? I dont believe the quick pick terminal uses a true random generator(binary). Maybe they can control initial seed via limits.

Proof you should not spend a lot of money on lottery tickets
Bummer. My attitude is it's not your win to win. I can't tell you how many times I have gotten up from a slot machine only to see later someone else sitting there at my machine waiting for a hand pay. Well, it wasn't my win to win, no reason to get upset or frustrated. I will tell you, too, that I buy 5 tickets per MM drawing, all quick picks on separate tickets, and sometimes separate stores. When one hits, it will be called a 1 quick pick win.

Proof you should not spend a lot of money on lottery tickets
I have been playing the lottery with my own sets of numbers for over 10 years. I was buying between 20 and 200 tickets for every drawing during that time. For a drawing in May of this year, I purchased 165 tickets at a liquor store. I found out that a jackpot winning ticket for that drawing was purchased in the store where I bought my tickets. The winner HAD to be me. Right? I had been playing over 10 years using my own numbers that I thought gave me a better chance of winning. I estimated that

Is it wrong to...?
People who don't want to assume a position of trust can simply refuse to purchase Lottery tickets for others. If someone asked me to get them a Quick Pick and gave me the money to play I'd go purchase the ticket and give same to them, that's just me I'm that type of person. No I would not copy the numbers or play them for myself. Again, I am honest like that. And what does predicting numbers have to do with it?? When people play numbers that I predict and they win I am very happy for them and

Is it wrong to...?
You are saying that, if you gave a friend $1.00 to purchase a megamillion Quick Pick, and they played for you, and they also played the same numbers and come to find out that let's say the Jackpot was $500,000,000 that you would not be mad at only getting $250,000,000.00! Yeah Right! The Jack Pot was yours and yours only. When your so called friend purchased the ticket and paid your dollar those are your numbers and yours alone. The only way I could see this happenning is if your friend said

It's getting hard to stay enthusiastic...
I like that... 1500 bucks I have invested into the group. Gone too far to turn back now. That's exactly how I feel! About 6 months ago I was seriously picking and strategizing number selection and it was fun but VERY time consuming. So, I had everyone pick some #'s and the rest we use Quick Picks. Previously, my wife used to tell me that I put too much thought into this and that's jinxing (sp?) the game. Now that it's becoming just a routine, our payout seems to have lessened...coinciden

I Am Sick Sick Sick!!
Happens all the time to me with the Pick 3 - either I'm a day late, a day early, or it comes out in NJ or Del and not PA. I'm sitting here now looking at the results of today's number in PA, it was a number I have been playing for a long time and it finally came out. I had the 2 and the 6 and didn't put the 7 with it and play. Did I play? No. My sheet gave me 247, that came out in NJ today also. But I KNEW it was going to be a six and a 2. I make up my own sheets up by studying and I am

The Megaball!!
Oh that is simple smirk Simply do one of the Mega balls I have NOT selected and you are sure to have it! Seriously, I choose to play the Mega Ball based off of date -- the rest I simply quick pick. So today, being the fifth -- means I will have one Mega Ball of five.

The 1225 that Fell In New York
Hey greatmaltz...thanks for replying to this post. Each number has it's own system. I can't say which number will fall from the system. But I do use quick picks to help me. For instance If I get a quick pick $.50 straight and the number comes out 1097 then I will play the 1109 because the 1108 comes off the 1225. You may want to check my thread for the 1079 that fell in SC. Georgia plays many numbers fromt the SC systems as well. https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/180705/1110343
