Computerized drawings coming to OHIO
Ohio has shown the live evening drawing for almost 30 years, it's become a tradition, and the type of draw (Ping Pong balls) is part of that tradition so I doubt that will change. The Mega Millions draw is only shown when the jackpot is high but the numbers begin scrolling across the bottom of the screen seconds after the draw. I'm assuming that's what they will do with the new Ten-Oh game. The Midday Pick-3 and Pick-4 drawings and the Kicker, which is an option with the Mega Millions tickets

Time to complain to the Delaware Lottery
Delaware does NOT care about ANYONE who plays its lottery. The ONLY thing they care about is to use the most sophisticated computerized software that illegally/unjustly/unethically increases its profit margin by scanning pre-selected combinations in the window before the drawing to elude winning combinations founded upon patterns found in randomness! whew-- I'm out of breath now! Can I prove this? No. But do I KNOW this? YES. Delaware's drawings defy randomness. And if they

So you must be asking if the lottery really is random. After all, anything based soley on chance can't be predetermined. If the drawing is not computerized, then 1/2 of a second could change which balls are drawn, right? Look at the Olympics. Everytime somebody "l

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
Hello, Ms Nettles says Texas is going computerized on Cash 5 in March, and intends to follow suit with the rest, dventually. In a sense, I'm looking forward to such...only because: the past hasn't proved prosperous, maybe the future will....who knows. (Maybe the Random Picker on my computer will match more with theirs....lol) Texas has changed the Lotto so much, they have almost gone 'belly-up' with it... If, by some miracle, the computer drawings become more profitable for the p

Lottery 'glitch' leaves players suspicious
Great story! This is the most damaging story yet to appear in the press accounts I have read. And it should be one that has all lottery players in every state that has an RNG...not just the players in Tennessee...screaming for an end to this crooked method of selecting numbers. Let's look at a few of the remarks made in this story and tie the lose ends together: Since the acknowledgement of the glitch, Hargrove and other lottery executives have downplayed the need for a thorough probe,
