N.J. Lottery to add Powerball?
Seems like a bad idea. It's bad enough being behind someone who NEVER plays the lotto but wants a ticket for the big jackpot. I can only imagine being behind someone who doesn't know the difference btw Powerball and Mega Millions! It's bad enough when the clerk is trying to explain QP's to a person or how they have to fill out a playslip but to Multi-State games?? It would be awful for someone who wasn't aware of the difference to buy a Powerball ticket instead of a MM and miss a Jackpot!! Imagi

International super lottery to create jackpots of $500 million or more
In the US, if you offer people a multi-state game with a bigger payout, they don't bother with the local lottery. BS, if they get large enough I play them for the better odds. In fact I play local lotteries far more than power rip off. But with a global lottery it also increases the chances of multiple winners. But $500 and up would be sweet.

prediction board
It is totally unfair for results to be compared and presented on the prediction board when targeted results are compared with hair brained multi state results where the poster has no clue for a positive outcome. In my opinion, if the results of a winning system targeted for a particular game are no better than those of a hair brain multi-state prediction then that just prove the system is no better than picking combinations randomly. I would expect a winning system or strategy to do better.

Mega Millions
Why would you think other wise? States have lotteries to raise money for themselves, not to give it away. Florida unlike a lot of states only has one state on its boarder with a multi=state game to compete with while a state like Ohio had five. Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia and Pennsylvania all had the BigGame or PowerBall before Ohio joined MegaMillions and Ohio Super Lotto couldn't compete. If enough Floridians start traveling to Georgia to buy MegaMillions ticket, Florida will

Mega Millions
Where did you get that impression? If that was true, you could travel to Georgia and get a bunch of MegaMillions play slips and play it in Florida. Each state have their own versions of the multi-state game and play slips that they offer. California has its own pari-mutuel version of MegaMillions and Texas has its version of MegaMillions with the Megaplier. Ohio's MegaMillions play slips can only be used in Ohio and MagaMillions and PowerBall winners can only cash in winning tickets in the st

Matrix change: Powerball to get much harder to win?
Why doesn't PB roll its matrix back some and essentially coast along with that game which was once fun to play? To compete with mega lotteries like El Gordo which draws once a year why doesn't the Multi-State Lottery Association expand on what states are doing now and have a raffle every 6 months or every year???? Jackpots climb to the probable billion + range and everyone gets what they want ...... all of which makes sense instead of trying Franken-morph PB into something unrecognizable.

Lottery no game for Tennessee executive
Standing recently in Neyland Stadium with roaring University of Tennessee football fans, Rebecca Paul Hargrove, the highflying impresario of legalized gambling, proudly waved a symbolic check for a billion dollars. The moment, captured on jumbo screens across the stadium, was among the countless plugs for the fund-raising prowess of Tennessee's lottery, which Hargrove started four years ago. As lottery executives go, few can claim her knack for seizing the spotlight. No matter the occasion, H
