Thanks for responding, I must have missed that poll.
Updating his/her profile would really do the job then I would make the mistake of calling a male a mama (lol)

Powerball or MegaMillions which will grow to 300+million
I know the smart money is on MegaMillions becuase the jackpot is at $216 million. But do you think it will keep rolling or be hit before reaching 300 million or higher? Or is this a record setting run will we see the jackpot top $365million? Sorry for all the questions just curious if you think this jackpot will go any higher. I would like to see another record breaking jackpot run but I don't think it will be this time as I plan to hit the MM jackpot tonight..LOL. But seriously I think the

Impulse Buying
That's a good answer and exactly what I was asking when I posted the poll. I'm the opposite. I tend to spend more online. I don't gamble online, but I have puchased products in the middle of the night. It just takes a click. In the supermarket I'll pick up a candy bar and stare at it and then put it back. There should be some kind of 24 hour internet law that covers buyer's remorse. LOL

Do you wait for the PowerBall to get to a certain amount?
The poll question is missing something: does this apply only to people who live in Powerball states? It's a 45 min. trip from here to the PA state line. I have to factor in fuel cost and time cost and sometimes weather conditions. Sometimes I play a few draws ahead just in case there'll be a snowstorm or a projcet to finish. If I am passing through a PB state I'll usually play any jackpot level but mormally I only go play if the PB is much higher than MM or if both MM and PB are 100M plus I like

writing my own software
I do not believe in due numbers either... Maybe we should do a poll like this... Do you count on due numbers or not...?!?

Have you ever talked to a lottery official?
On the FL site there have been polls from time to time. I just get a response saying thank you for participating. A couple of them have been similar to polls on LP. (Maybe they get ideas from us!) It's an anonymous poll, so I don't know how they'd contact me and I rarely offer my personal information to people unless required. Regarding correspondence, years ago I wrote to the lottery online (askLotto) but that was when the FL website was new. I'd get a response almost immediately. FL has g

Buying Quick Picks
As far as the way your Poll question is worded: The odds are no better regardless of how you purchase the tickets. Still will be 1 in 1,000 for a straight, and 1 in 167 for a six-way box, and 1 in 334 for a three-way box.
But if you're looking to use them for pairs to also play, I would get them separately, since it appears -- at least to me -- that whenever one purchases a lottery ticket with multiple lines as a QP, the terminal usually duplicates more digits in consecutive lines than it do

Ok, with your Poll, you are asking two different questions, with only one answer possible to cover both questions, which question are we saying 'yes' or 'no' to ?
Just step back and look at it for a minute, and you will see what I mean.

Discarded Votes
when you open up a post with a poll suppose you don't want to vote on any of the choises but instead would rather discard your vote either because none of the questions applied to you or you wanted to see how others voted.
but once you discard your vote as Rickg said you cannot change your mind and vote again as you disguarded you vote.
