Tools You Could Use?

New Jeresey couple wins huge Powerball lottery jackpot
Quote: Originally posted by qutgnt on May 19, 2004Yes when playing a system and your numbers hit then of course you will win multiple prizes, but when those numbers dont hit your screwed. So when you play quick picks and your numbers don't hit you are screwed also. What is your point? My point is if you are going buy tickets, then why not choose numbers using prior draws to analyze the numbers and wheel those numbers and even if all your numbers don't come in you always have the chance to win mu

New Jeresey couple wins huge Powerball lottery jackpot
Quote: Originally posted by qutgnt on May 19, 2004Yes and playing quick picks and such I have hit many lower tier prizes too, what is your point? Since every dvent is random systems are useless especially in games that pay out such a poor %. You are wasting your time and energy. I am sure you have hit many lower tier prizes using quick picks just as a lot of other people have. But how often have you won multiple lower tier prizes on the same ticket? My guess is that if you are using quick pick

Predictions - Are You Serious ?
When thinking about the probability reduction in buying two powerball tickets, consider the case of two sets of two tickets, one having ten different numbers and one having nine different numbers, meaning that both tickets share one number. (I am ignoring the powerball)At the moment just before the first white ball is drawn you will have in the non-repeating set, a probability of 10 in 53 of having one number in either ticket. In the second set, sharing one number, you will have a probability

Quick Picks Vs. Number Selection
Quote: Originally posted by BobP on April 30, 2004Don't be in doubt, contact your lottery and find someone who can answer the question of whether Quick Picks must chew through all the combinations for a draw before repeating one or not.Asking questions like this can be frustrating as the lotteries I've asked questions of seem to go out of their way to miss-understand the simplist questions requiring several emails often going nowhere.Anyway from what I've learned there is no connection between t

Quick Picks Vs. Number Selection
According to Powerball.com website in the new/info. section faq.....70% of winning tickets are quick/easy picks, including the jackpot. They also state that 70% of all Powerball ticket sales are quick picks. It could be that the number of winning quick picks is due to the number of quick pick tickets purchased. However, the only way this could be true is if the Powerball lottery system purposely allows a specified number of winning tickets per drawing. If no one played quick picks would ther

Buckeye 5
I know exactly what you mean about the generator producing bad combinations. I'd say for every 10 quick picks, you get about 3 dead combinations. At least in my case it has. Or like you said, ones that are very similiar to previous drawings. If I were to drop $80 on the Buckeye 5,I'd have to go with quick picks simply because there's no way I'm gonna fill out all those bet cards. LOL. Now,however,if I was going to put $10-$20 on it,I'd probably take the time out and pick my own numbers which
