In an independent lottery process, each digit has a constant probability per draw and no memory. The temporary absence of a digit over a finite number of draws is statistically expected and does not indicate predetermination. Randomness inherently produces short-term imbalance; only persistent, statistically significant deviations over large samples would suggest bias.

Recently, I did a workup looking for trips only, not false trips, and found that the hottest pair in the 7 days of draws prior to a trip was 6,4, but the correlation wasn't strong enough to play off of. Over the entire history of the Virginia lottery, the best indicator of a coming trip has been a trip. They really like to fall together.
