Excel Formula for Pick 4
Back in June, Winsum posted this excel solution to find singles, doubles and triples in P3: A1 = Pick 3 Number. Example 123 B1 = Value(mid(text($A1, 000 ),1,1)) C1 = Value(mid(text($A1, 000 ),2,1)) D1 = Value(mid(text($A1, 000 ),3,1)) Cell E1 enter the following formula: =CHOOSE(MAX(INDEX(COUNTIF($B1:$D1,$B1:$D1),)), S , D , T )) Thanks, Winsum for your great work! Much appreciated! Does anyone know the corresponding formula for the P4? The choices would be S (Sing

The Trend is Your Friend in NJ Pick3
I was a Data Analyst until I got laid off 2 years ago. I'm still trying to use my Data skills to crack the NJ Pick4. My last win was last Dec 2012 and another win would come by soon. Anyway, I wish to share my Excel skills in this forum, to the benefit of all. This spreadsheet maps the frequency of the digits from 0 thru 9 over 1 thru 4 weeks of drawings. Let me list the steps needed to produce this, so you may apply it to your individual state lotterys or even to mega and pb. 1. Produce a

can someone help me with formula for excel?
I believe what you need is something like: =COUNTIF(A1...A30, =0 ) change the 0 to what ever number you want to count That formula should be placed in each cell that you want the counted numbers to be in. 0=how many 0's 1=how many 1's 2=how many 2's etc. thru 9 You can change the range (A1...A30) that you want to count. Hope that's what you were looking for...

SirMetro's subtract from 39 method Update
Next, I have a chart stretching from 1 to 42 and below that chart, I use excel to look at the various systems and if the number appeared in any of the systems, it would not show in this table. Hence my name for this table is the Left-Overs . 0102030405060708091011121314151617181920 0102030405060809111317 01021214161718 0102070809111216 050608091118 (First row is just a list of numbers) The excel formula I use here is this =IF((COUNTIF($K2:$BM2,BP$1))>0,

Excel Help
OK, I'm always playing with numbers but I use pen/paper and get bored before I finish coping the numbers for my latest theory and give up. Sometimes I use Excel for basics but I'm not knowledgeable about formulas. Here is the latest formula I'm looking for:I want to compare the numbers drawn in the US on any given day for the Pick 5 games. I copy/paste the results from LP in excel. A gif of the last 765 Cash 4 Life draws
thanks do a COUNTIF(range, criteria) apply a color scale conditional format (blue=min=cold, white=50% percentile, red=max=hot) shrink the text to font size 1 since you can't conditionally format text, only the cell background same short column width for all columns screenshot easy enough to set up once then copy down a row of results per drawing lots of cells to calculate and conditional format tho it is the image that convinces me that in any non-pseudo random draw, the e

Daily Picker in Excel
For the last month I have been developing an Excel Worksheet that creates picks based on any calculation involving a previous number or sequence. The first step was to download all of the picks for the California Daily 3 and calculate all of the mirror numbers for each sequence. The numbers are listed by game number (descending from Last draw) as follows: N1 N2 N3 M1 M2 M3 The next step was to create a formula set for each Number and Mirror number. For example: using M2 from a previous dr

Who Can Do This Kind Of Chart/analyzer for JP games ?
I think most programmers want to be hired. Some programmers just like programming. I guess you could say I built or programmed my own lottery program in excel. I dont use much of the fancy VBA stuff, as I dont know it yet but I use a lot of countif functions. Thanks for the website idea I will check it out. The only thing that scares me is giving out the holy grail to somebody who has not themselves thought of it. I am sure some sophisticated programmers such as RL, and JimWr
