Finished with IE!
Todd speaks the I.T. truth. Whereas IE11 is not as bad as earlier versions, it still is Microsoft. In IE, go to Tools Compatibility settings and uncheck all options. In essence, these options allow IE to do some stuff to the code that runs the website in order to play nicey-nice in the Windows world. Compatibility is really not required unless your site is old and was designed for, and still is coded for IE6, early ASP.NET, J-Sharp (or whatever that Microsoft version of Javascript is), etc. Oth

Driven to death by phone scammers
I get some scammers on my cell phone, usually credit card scams. I've gotten the Microsoft scam at work a few times along with someone claiming to be from our IT department saying my computer is infected and they need me to do certain things to stop it. I know Microsoft won't call me and I know how our IT department handles infected PCs because something happened to me once that made me think my work PC might be infected, and they didn't handle it the way these people wanted to. In fact, I had t

Can I use my Microsoft Office macros? The OpenOffice.org macros are written in OpenOffice.org BASIC, a macro language that uses the same programming logic as Microsoft Visual Basic. However, some elements differ, as for example the calls to software commands and object names. So you would have to rewrite the macros. Macros written for MS Word for instance cannot be executed via OpenOffice.org; you'll need to re-write them. This has its benefits - it makes OOo documents less virus prone.

Mathematics and the Lottery
From your several posts, you seem to be on a learning curve with a new programming language. Allow me to suggest you take a different path. Excel uses Basic. Microsoft calls their version Visual Basic. Now would be a good time to seriously consider switching to Excel. This spreadsheet allows you to do so much more and it will never go out of date . Microsoft will see to that. And there are a few members here willing to help you write whatever code you need to accomplish a task. The invest

What is A Good Virus Software?
The best one is free from Microsoft called Microsoft Essentials It immediately warns me of any threats and asks me If I want to clean it. It also has a scanner, However, there are somethings it can't find like Trojans and the such, so I use Spybot , which is also free. It does a wonerful job of finding those tricky ones that cause a lot of headaches. The scan can take up to 30 minutes or more, but it's worth it. EDIT: Sorry, I overlooked the DOWNLOAD part of your question. Unfortunately
