Scratch off Odds?
Generally Scratch Odds are posted, and yes, they are better than even the best on-line games overall, usually in general. Worst is 1 in 5, but best is 1 in 1; like apparently in Ohio, our $20 Christmas ticket guarantees at least $5 on every ticket. What isn't always known is the Payout, I sat down and figured it out and could be as well as 60%.Actually better than the average slot machine. Here in Pa. we have our cash 5 which is 1 in 8 of getting your dollar back. And the new Match 6 will be

Maryland budget deficit looms as lottery revenue falls off
Maryland's lottery has been slowing down as a revenue source for years and will continue to underperform as residents seek other gambling ventures, including betting on slot machines in neighboring states, budget analysts and state officials say. The lottery has been, until very recently, the third-largest general fund revenues source, said David Roose, director of the state's Bureau of Revenue Estimates. But in the last few years the corporate income tax has become the third-largest.

Post your scratch ticket results
I was happy with the 1st one that I went for another. I haven't been to Sheetz in weeks. Asked a girl out and got turned down, so I was embarrassed to go back.lol Anyway, I decide to do another with their automated machine,. There were 2 buttons for the new Fever tix which did give me consecutive tickets, not from different slots. I won't bother with the breakdowns. I cashed my initial ones for a voucher. Decided to keep that and play more with my money. This machine challenge was well worth

Do people have more luck just buying one scratch ticket at a time as opposed to buying 2 or more?
I usually buy 3 tickets in a row..i like to think the first one was the ticket before me, then the actual ticket I buy, and then the ticket after me, which may be the winner! I use the machine, sometimes and buy one, then another til I win..this is called chasing! I sometimes get a nice $100 winner out of this, but sometimes I get a face vaule prize..very frustrating after say buying 7 in a row.. I alos use to buy every ticket in the machine..just one of each..most of the time I l

What's with NY Sweet Million??
Yes, you bring up all good points, it's easy to get scammed when there is so much confusion and the con men are always there to take advantage of someone, even I get mixed up sometimes about what games are on what days, or what day it is, sometimes I'll ask for MM on Wed. when I really want PB, and then I catch myself and have to tell the clerk I really wanted PB before she hits the computer keys! Due to a confusing situation at a slot machine, I was a victim of theft in Atlantic City at the

New York Lottery accounting method questioned
Billions of dollars in bets are kept off the New York Lottery's books. That's because the state Lottery Division does not publicly report the wagers on its video games that go to gamblers as prizes. The figures aren't included in the Lottery's annual reports or audited financial statements, and the Lottery initially declined requests for the amounts wagered on the video machines, and the prizes paid, since the machines were introduced in 2004. Late yesterday, however, a Lottery official

Slot Secret
About the only things you can do is limit how much the casino can win from you and have an amount you want to win after which you walk away. Never turn to the ATM, arrive with an amount for slots, never spend more then that because if luck were on your side for the day you wouldn't need more money. Once you get to the amount you need for the visit, say $200.00 quit, collect and leave. It isn't hard to win to a reasonable amount, it's trying to win big that takes people over the top of th

Minnesota top pull-tab state
Imagine that every fruitless pull of a casino's slot machine produced a colorful bit of trash and you get an idea of how the garbage bins at American Legion Post 1776 overflow on a good night.Last year $6.4 million worth of pull-tabs were sold from this tidy metal-clad hall -- tops in a state that is tops in the nation -- allowing Post 1776 to pass a profit of $246,000 on to hundreds of schools, sports programs and charities.Though they're sold without the glamor of Las Vegas or the marketing bu
