I've used a lottery vending machine in Colorado but I only play QP. The screen has number buttons on it if the player wishes to choose the numbers. I don't think it will accept play slips but the next time I use one, I'll check it out.

So true, buying whole books of scratch-off lottery tickets does not guarantee a top prize win. In her case stealing books of tickets would not cost her anything if she did not get the top prize, she was wrong. On Youtube Mr. Beast purchased 1 million dollars in scratch-off tickets and did not win a top prize. With scratch-offs, we will never know what store or vending machine a top prize lottery ticket is in.

All the stores by me that I go to have one terminal. I've only seen a couple of places with a vending machine. Now I have seen the same couple of people buy $150+ worth of numbers with no slips. They just read them off out of their note pad and the clerk punches them in. All depends on where you're at I guess.

I went to the store and the lottery does not accept .10 bet on the terminal for trifecta for ten cents. Went to another store who has a vending machine and had one of the guys to show me what to do.. Select your numbers and then you hit the Sup-wheel button then reduce the amt to ten cents. Do not hit the trifecta button.

What unfair advantage does California have? They have more lottery vending machines in more places than any other state in the U.S. California is singlehandedly keeping the lottery in business. In my state, my local Walmart just got a lottery vending machine about a year ago. Most states are behind California when it comes to lottery vending machines

A person has to buy the ticket themselves, and not use any service to acquire their tickets, except for the ticket buyer to go into the store location themselves. A person has to buy their tickets at the counter, or lottery ticket vending machine is how I interpret it.
