Do you thank the gov't can change the number?
They do it every day. They perform pre tests and rotation of the tubes without release of their new configuration, or orientation. It's funny though...despite all those Precautions , machines will still break down when they want to. It's like trying to prevent the next airline disaster by performing mock events....WTF?
YUP! They're changing the numbers alright!...

$6.9M lottery winner steps forward
Smart lady.
I wish I could tell you more about the winner, but she wants no publicity or news release. We spoke with her and she expressly declined any ceremony or check presentation, said Stephanie Weyant, press secretary at the state Department of Revenue.

$6.9M lottery winner steps forward
After 76 suspenseful days, a winner has stepped forward to claim the record-breaking $6.9 million lottery prize for the Match 6 ticket sold at Giant Eagle supermarket in Ebensburg.
But there are few drum rolls to accompany the announcement, because the winner does not want publicity, so the state can only release a name: Jane Rowland of Hollidaysburg.
The winning Match 6 lotto ticket, which was sold March 23, was validated Thursday. It was the largest Match 6 lottery jackpot ever.
It wi

IL $250 millionaires club
State run lotteries don't control the release or availability of winning tickets. It's convenient to assume that this kind of trickery goes on, but it's blatantly unfair and would quickly be discovered given the number of audits these organizations have to go through. Also, holding back prizes would require lottery employees or their suppliers to know the ticket and book numbers of the top prize winning tickets and their physical location. That kind of knowlege purposely isn't available in one p

N.J. native wins $38M Calif. Lottery jackpot
irondoor827....no I am not in any way, shape or form affliated with the lottery. Would a lottery official be posting on a Saturday morning? I doubt it.
As far as having inside information, none needed. All one had to do was to read the lottery's press release, found on their web site, and compare it to the article posted by Todd from the Union-Tribune. Hardly inside stuff, just simple reading skills.

$75M Texas Lotto jackpot claimed by business partnership
If a person of wealth won that jackpot they would have even more reason not to release their name to the public, too many people probably are already looking for a handout from them and winning a lottery jackpot would just attract even more people.
Why would anyone except the government tax departments need to know more unless they too intend to benefit from their winnings?

Did thousands of B.C. Lottery players throw away winning tickets?
That's a shame. I would always check the main site, but I'm not sure I even trust the official Florida site any more. There have been too many errors. Lately I've been checking my numbers on both LP and the Florida web site. Then I read the press release in the morning to see where the jackpot was won. Of course, if the numbers were incorrect and I got 5/6 or 4/6, I wouldn't know. Maybe I shouldn't tear up the QPs I buy. I always toss my tickets into a shoebox for about a year, but I throw

Georgia Trucker Claims Half of Record $390 Million Lottery Jackpot
Oh, well...
You CAN'T do that in California. You have to go through a press conference and release your name.
