Not enough options in the poll. Reduce the matrix, not increase it. I do play Mega Millions, but am doing so less and less. MM making moves like the Mega Tripler (promotions, 3 X's the smaller payoffs, and I mean smaller) just don't cut it, whoop tee do, so for the promotion period you win $9 instead of $3, or even $30 instead of $10. Perhaps instead of looking for just 3 number connections backward.... increase it to 4. Four Connected Digits. It worked for me a couple of times in P4 games. Connected however...not just highest hit rate. Using 4 connected cut down my plays too... was able to capture hits with only 15 numbers. In P4 ...for goodness sake. Basically you are playing only 1/4 of the total pick 3 straights for profit. I know... people are going to complain about the amount of numbers to play (280) - but look at the big picture: 280 @ $.25 each = $70 - win of $225 = $155 profit 280 @ $1.00 each = $280 - win of $900 = $620 profit Even if you must start small at a quarter play, you can build up your bank and increase your bets.

There's a way to make those jackpot sizes larger, and it doesn't involve changing the matrix. It doesn't involve extending the annuity to $100 years to make the jackpot appear larger while actual cash awarded and available on the day of the draw remains the same. The word 'ROLL' implies some of the money from previous unawarded draws is ROLLED into the next draw to increase the jackpot size beyond ticket sales for that draw. What a concept, huh? J

There are several folks that can get all 5 WB's in an evening - just not in the same game.
