A little of what I know
Actually 2 E/1O will play about the same amount of time 2 O/1E will play because there are 500 exacts of exact.CalifDude is correct in there are 220 unique combinations which only 120 of them are 3 different digits. The other 100 are Doubles and Triples. With 3 different digits more likely to hit then Doubles each time you are starting out with 120 possible 3 digit sets. Twenty of those sets are PURES...meaning either All Even or All Odd.this takes you down to 100 unique ....half lean towa

HELLO califdude, yes I haven't had any luck with the real vtrac numbers,I use them to getrid of combinations in my wheel..When i said vtrac type numbers I was talking about.. example todaysmidday was 7-3-8 so vtrac type numbers -555 would be 2-8-3 you'll notice a large percentage of the pairs will not be there nextout.. 28,23,83 so theres 21 combo's to throw out.I had talked to you once before about using keys ..so if you had 3 vtracs you are looking

Some Pick 3 Tricks
CalifDude,OK, you have proven me wrong on my stats.........I have a few tricks that I use in addition to what I posted here.......... ( all my methods of selecting my numbers are posted on this forum) I just posted these things as part of my workouts that I play daily as they are easy to understand and use. From your response I guess you like to critique peoples methods of picking their numbers. If you don't like my methods, how about explaining in the detail I posted how you arrive at the numbe

64 draws to crack pick3
Quote: Originally posted by CalifDude on March 12, 2004I think I see a little better..If goose had arranged the numbers like this:019452798561Now the 3 numbers are the vertical ones (058, 125, 976, and 491). Then you use his wheel and every 4th ticket will have one correct number! Not good enough!!! I need all 3 to be correct and with a box win average of $100, I would have to win every time with this system. And since it won't even give me a win with 123 , it doesn't work for me.CalifDud

P3 for All States 3/12
You say tomatoe, I sat toma'toe. Just kidding! CalifDude, I consider those Root Numbers. 458 = 4+5+8 =17=1+7=8When I refer to Root Sums (Totals) this is my equation 458 = 4+5+8 = 17 =7 or another example 468 = 4+6+8 = 18 = 8What I consider Root Sums (I should say Root Sum Total) cover several all sums at a glance. Root Sum 8 covers sums 8-18-28. Root Sum Total is the last digit of the Sum.Root Numbers is where you add the the 2 digits of the sums to get the Root Number.

My Method explained
Oh, and for doubles..look at this interesting info: Double 1= 3 4 3 2= 2 0 1 3= 2 2 2 4= 2 1 2 5= 4 9 8 6= 2 3 0 7= 4 0 1 8= 4 0 3 9= 2 4 3 0= 0 2 2This shows that for doubles only that the first position is most of the time, position 5, 7, or 8 (of the 10 number sequence). The middle number is most of the time position 5 and the third number is most often position 5.Also: Hits Double 1= 11 2= 3 3= 6 4= 5 5= 20 6= 5 7= 5 8= 7 9= 9 0= 4Remember that the numbers in the first column above relate t

California Daily 3 for 3/10/04 Evening
I do not have specific numbers for tonight's draw because the group to play is not clear. I will make some suggestions, though.Doubles have skipped 5 times. In recent history in California doubles have skipped more than 5 times only 7% of the time. My indicator for which double to play shows 66. The sums indicated are 3, 5, and 8. These are not root sums. They are the ones digit of the sum. So, 17=7.Good Luck,CalifDude

Random Number Generators
This is a hot topic with cryptographers and math lovers. It is a question (what is truly random?) that may never be answered. The best source (and agreed upon by most, if not all) has to do with the radio active decay of something (I forget what). If you are interested, and would like to download some random numbers, use this URL:http://www.fourmilab.ch/hotbits/I wrote a program for encryption a few years ago that uses these random numbers. There are a number of tests that can be done to dete

key number
Wow, Calif, that's a work of art! I wish I knew how to do all that! That looks too guruky for me! :) I wouldn't even know where to start. My son too is an expert in Excel and Access and all those programs but he tells me that unless I show him the money he won't waste his time on that. Meaning, that unless I can prove to him that I am winning lots of money with the lottery he won't program anything for me. And I ask him: What comes first the chicken or the egg? I just split my $290 winn
