Powerball Lottery Jackpot Jumps to $53 Million
Starchile:If PB isn't America's favorite lottery game how could they have it in the first line of the article saying it is? So there you are. It's also on the way up. No way it would say so if it weren't true.Remember where you heard it.J

E-mail lotteries?
Somewhere between all and nothing lies most lottery systems and software. There are crooks and people really trying to help. There are free lottery games see http://www.lotto-logix.com/games.html and read the article on playing the free lotto games. It's a hard choice to pick those safe to play that will pay if you win, but if you can't spend the dollars you can spend the time instead to play lotto for less. BobP

Coworkers fight for share of B.C. lottery win
I have a feeling the two women contributed to some of the pools for past drawings and have no proof of contributing to the pool for the last drawing. In another article I read they also thought some of the other co-workers should also be included with the eight women and one man that claimed to have been the only members of the pool that bought the ticket. I think these women thought the pool was run by some of their co workers for the benefits of all the co-workers so they will have to go to

Lottery plan dies in N.C. Senate
I'm disappointed in the Senate not even attempting a vote. This article implies that Wilma Sherril may have been influenced to break from the Republican stronghold.

I also saw that on yahoo. You forgot to mention the last paragraph of that article, about how they wanted so badly to visit the LP and tell everyone here about their winnings. However, they said they were way too busy to post. I can understand. LOL

Ohio Lottery planning end for Super Lotto game
Well, I was speculating. That sounded like it made the most sense given the article. This is what I was thinking. This thing is confusing.

Ohio Lottery planning end for Super Lotto game
For similarities, take a look at KY's Tic Tac Cash. Same concept, different-sized playing field. But the article indicated that players would be able to select numbers in the top row alone - the other four rows would be quick picks only. There would have to be some filtering of the possibilities - after all, there are 552,446,474,061,128,648,601,600,000 different bingo cards possible. Even if the same 24 numbers were to be utilized as the only options on a bingo card and placed in their proper col

Lottery Taxation
An interesting article on (federal) taxes against the lottery winnings is found here:http://www.williamsmullen.com/news/articles_detail/019.htmThere are many great issues discussed. Think of it as part of your preparation work. When you win, you will be too excited to think about it then.

Lottery Taxation
It's been my understanding that gambling/lottery winnings are taxed as ordinary income and fica is not deducted.Do not believe windfall designation applies but sure welcome input from anyone who can clarify.Found this on a quick search: Tax Trails - Miscellaneous / Other Income You must include your gambling winnings as income. If you itemize your deductions on Form 1040, Schedule A, you may deduct gambling losses you had UP TO the amount of your winnings.http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0

One ticket wins $56 million NY Lotto jackpot
Oh, OK.Did you check out in the article where it states:There were big purchases of course an apartment in the Trump Tower and a significant and growing art collection, but Falcon assiduously avoided the hundreds of once-in-a-lifetime investment opportunities he was offered. And what's more, he was smart enough to take his money over 26 years and not as a lump sum.
