on may 16,2005 a combined total of over 300 people won straight on pick 3 in south carolina and in indiana only 7 people combined won straight on the pick 3,south carolina has two million less people,do you think south carolina players are more lucky? do you think indiana is rigged? or do you think less people play in indiana...by the way this happens nearly every day on a consistent basis...

I would agree that this is a classic example of why computer rng's are not always the best. I always thought it was fine for keno (which I don't play) but for large jackpot games it's a disaster waiting to happen. While people will probably ignore small news like this on a minor game eventually the same news will happen on a major state game like the California superlotto and that will be the real test when people find out the game was rigged to make losing tickets.

Correct. The jackpot winner receives 32.6689% of sales. Also, the estimated CASH VALUE has increased only about $8 million, not $15 million, so they're actually projecting only about $24 million in sales. BTW, Mega Millions is now $50 million annuity for Tuesday's drawing. It's beginning to get to the point where people will think the MM is rigged!

You would think that would sell more tickets. Atleast you should feel like you have a chance of winning, I'm in a Mega Millions state and it's getting to the point where you would think it was rigged that no one would win a under 100 million jackpot. I would play more often if I was in a powerball state, atleast you would feel like you could win a smaller jackpot.

could be rigged,you see balls juggling,then one coming out down below,from the juggling you don't see the exact route.also if it was random,once in a while you should have like 5-25 winners of the biggy,not just one or 2.

Even if I win, I will still believe what I believe today. I just would not care about the issue so much anymore. As I said in the past, real people do win.Some people don't exactly understand that, and continue to ask, But if you think it's rigged, why do you still play?

It seems weird to me that 2 nights in a row.Double numbers i was one off from having $2600 lastnight. I played 7621 straight/boxed. Seems funny to me that 2 nights in a row of a brand new lottery double numbers. Makes you wonder if its rigged or not.

I think California will be like PA and IN for powerball. Usually if there is a winner it's in those states. However, you can't be like my dad. He never plays because he thinks it's rigged. He says, someone from up north will win so why play? I always explain to him that they sell more tickets but my dad doesn't listen. The way I see it everyone has the same odds of winning no matter where you are.
