Playing The Mega Millions And Powerball Lottery Games Is Very Expensive $15,600.
Thrifty, I get your point. I really do. But I think you're wrong, man. I'm sure if you nickel and dime yourself for 40+ years you can retire a multi-millionaire. But you still have to enjoy life. For every horrendous bridesmaid dress I've had to fork out for over the years, I'd gladly spend the money to do it all over again, just to be a special part of my friends' happiest days. I'm sure almost everyone here, including you, spends money on things they will NEVER see a penny fr

Take5 NY
Maybe so Kap, maybe so. Did you ever notice that all of the JP winners seem to be everyday ordinary people? That's the thing that keeps me playing. Those winners are everyday ordinary people, just like you and me. They're nobody special. They're not out of the oridinary, they're simply normal people who bought a lottery ticket and won a big pile of money. What's wrong with wanting to have something in common with them? None of us are going to get rich and retire playing Take5, but I would

$350 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot soars
LMAO. PlayToWin47, you're my new best friend. Thanks for the positive vibes. I really do have some people that in my life right now that it is physically hurting me not to be able to help. My grandfather lost everything he spent 40 years building to a conman, right when he was about to retire and pass the business to his sons. And all the people he helped through the years, with college tuitions, car payments, downpayments on their homes, those leeches all disappeared overnight. His sons

LB, I aint retired already, and aint nobody here gonna retire on a T5 JP win! Now with a SM JP win, that'd be different. Yeah, I'd be retired. As to your two strategies, I'm in the same boat as you. I could spend ten bucks a day playing the lottery, but I usually dont. That's mostly because I know better than to do that. But there are days when between T5 and SM, or T5 and Lotto (when it was big) or T5 and PB, I could easily blow past 10 bucks. Lately I've been playing T5 on the da

Playing recently drawn numbers to win a jackpot
Stack47, your knowledge of the games is very impressive. Unfortunately, the answers to the questions you ask, along with $5, will get you no more than a snack at Starbucks. RJOh, I guess I assumed too much when I assumed that at least one proverbial half a brain was functioning and knew that rates of return was implicit in my questions. Ronnie316, no comment. It appears none of you wants to comment on the fact that your selection methods had nothing to do with how syndicates won money

Playing recently drawn numbers to win a jackpot
RJOh, Are you trying to tell us that states are discontinuing games due to STATE LOSSES brought about by system players beating the odds? If you are, I'd like to see some proof. I think you will find their reasons are not at all what you are implying. A good case in point is the one you brought up, the Massachusetts Cash Winfal game. Syndicates of gamblers took advantage of a poorly designed game and won by buying massive numbers of tickets when the lower tier prizes were inflated through the

How many millions would you need to retire and live comfortably going forward
$3M AT is the lowest I could go to retire and live somewhat comfortably. $99 M after taxes tithe does get me much more comfort though... - $10M House on the beach - $20M TF for kiddo - $10M for 5 large bank accounts, new furnishings for new house, couple of nice vehicles a vacation or 2. - $10M in Dividend Aristocrats - $50M in tax free munis @ 4.5% (or better) which genrates $2.25M/yr tax free. If you can't live on $1M/yr tax free and keep re-investing the rest, then your

Once Stop Shop for Excel/Apache Lottery Systems
New Years has come back around again! If maybe we could get these great minds back in synchronization, then we can all retire from the rat race and you can come to NY with CW4 and do some major toasting on the world stage! (wishful thinking on my part!) We need a 2012 Jackpot toast! With some real money! No more of this funny money! (before the mayan aliens come and abduct us) P.S. Everytime I try and call CW on the phone and discuss his systems, he tells me, call

Does it make you angry??
I think you left out a zero or two off that # I make well over $50,000 and hardly consider myself finacially well off. I bust my ass at work to pay my bills, sure I live in a nice house, but won't be able to retire in it unless I get a nice win, my truck is 16 years old. If you exclude everyone that makes $50,000 or more you'll just reinforce the notion that the lottery is a tax on the poor, and the JP will grow slower and therefore hit less often and ppl. will loose interest. the
