Wisconsin couple to be investigated for excessive lottery wins
I agree! Before I read the article, I was thinking it was going to be big money, but we're talking in the under $100,000 category (total). It goes to show you that human nature is that people are jealous, not happy for others! LOL I don't know how many times on TV I've seen the same people win $1 million twice or more on scratch tickets slot machines. Happens a lot!

Illinois lottery glitch gives players extra chance
Note: The affected drawing was Thurs. midday, not Friday as mentioned in the article. Thurs. midday pick-4 players, get those tickets out of the garbage can and check them.I commend IL for rectifying this. After my e-mail to them about it and the shoddy response I received from them, I was ready to throw in the towel. But Carolyn Adams did the right thing. Good for her!

Don't let NY pull out of Mega Millions!
http://news.bloodhorse.com/viewstory.asp?id=27611Doesn't sound to me like NY is considering banning gambling (in fact, they're doing all they can to keep it alive, it sounds like). But I'm not from NY, so I haven't had a chance to follow it that closely. Ryan, could you post a link to an article that talks about the movement to ban gambling in NY? Thanks

Powerball Lottery States Vote to Change Game
Yes, a few years ago the odds were 80m:1. I wish I had been able to participate in it back then. But they have added many states and thats why the odds have increased. Also, if anyone was wondering or missed it in the article, then new odds are not going into effect until August 29th. So, I have almost four months to play it the way I like it and then I will resolve myself to 1-2 tickets per draw and of course lotto south.

Kentucky Lottery hurt by players' luck
Mr. Gleason had it exactly right....statistical norms rule the lottery. One month or one fiscal year might show less than expected profits or even a loss, but overall it evens out...the state is still guaranteed a good chunk of money.I liked this article because KY lottery officials seem to realize that the players should sometimes be on the winning side. There's no whining and wringing of hands, Let's change the payout structure knee-jerk reaction. As one of the interviewees said, it has inc

"Manifestation"
Nice article, Kokane. Do you have any individual techniques for creative visualization/manifestation you'd care to share? Any particular mantras you find especially helpful for your own uses? Any tricks for jiggling the mind/ego out of the slot, particular symbols, maybe? Rituals?I'd be interested in reading them if you'd care to post them.Jack
