Mega Millions in CA
Has anyone said how REALLY HARD the Mega Millions is to win? And how when CA joins it's going to be REALLY REALLY HARD to win? The odds are outrageous already and, yes, I buy ONE ticket here in TX because if you're not in, you certainly don't win. But 170 MILLION TO 1!!? It makes the TX Lotto easy to win by comparison. Has there ever been a poll done on pot size preference vs odds? I, for one, would like to win a measly 4 million with a decent chance to win, than a $100 million with no c

Track together or seperate....
Takeitez, good poll question and it's something that I have grappled with for years and is always a good subject for discussion. As four4me suggested, it would be very helpful to know how your state picks its machines and ballsets for each drawing. For example, in IL the machines and ball sets are picked in a separate random drawing from fifteen machines and ball sets before each drawing. In this situation one might consider combining the draws. However there do seem to be anomalies between the

Straight-only option for Prediction Pages
I think that thread asks about stats, not the winners page, so I'm not sure people are responding to that question.I can just tell you the way I personally feel about it: If I am lucky enough to get a hit, I would personally want to be included on that day's winner page without being filtered off. I have always viewed that page as the trophy page for predictors. There are times when my personal feelings on something are different from the majority, so it's quite possible that I'm off-base on

Poll #18 Of The Tournament
This isn't easy. Megabucks lacks the all important (and ever-popular in other games) cash option. On the other hand Ca$h Winfall suffers a flaw that everyone feels wether they win or not, a whopping price of $2 for 1 line. On the positive side Megabucks is Massachusetts institution, and Ca$h Winfall offers the most astounding phenomena in lotteries today, the winfall. CW also offers a free ticket for matching 2 numbers. So I feel this needs some more time to work itself with all of you. I am ext

Poll re: Your state lottery's response
Yesterday, IL 4/14 midday Pick 4 draw was interrupted with an unknown technical difficulty .I e-mailed them asking for an explanation and below is their response in total: It was live, there was a technical difficulty, just like it showed andsaid on the screen. They did respond within 24 hours but the response was not satisfactory and in fact, somewhat rude. I would have appreciated a Dear Customer or we apologize for the inconvenience or we appreciate your business , or a signature, or at

LOTTO South Jackpot Overlay
Thanks for your interest guys, but I'm just talking about a good betting opportunity presented by this overlay for LOTTO South players. I happen to live in a LOTTO South state and I haven't heard anyone around here complaining about the game. You put your money down, you take your chances, and you win or lose. That certainly doesn't mean that the game has to be overhauled. Is there any lottery game in all of America that you don't want to change?I'll have to defer to your expertise on running lo

What would you need to see?
If someone can do better than chance consistently, then they are a guru at picking numbers. That's why looking at the Predictions Page and understanding what you are seeing is so important. When I look at the top predictors, I disregard anyone that has bet less than $100. You might see someone that has bet over the past 30 days $40 and had 1 winning ticket worth $80. Wow! They doubled their money, but I want to see how well they are doing after betting $250! There was a poll done recently

Indiana legislator attacks computerized lottery drawings
Doc,Don't expect a response to your e-mail. They all put their address there to appear legit but very few give responses.I would love to hear a follow-up to Doc's post from the almost 11,000 other LP members that have e-mailed their state lottery with a question and have not received a response (in fact I will post a poll on the discussion board re: this customer service ).Has YOUR state responded to YOUR e-mails?I've never received a response from the IL state lottery via e-mail and I have e-
