Judge orders new trial in Arkansas lottery ticket suit
Yeah, this is pretty much a fail on your part as well because it's already happened, and, is an active topic here on LP. If you review my posts, you'll see where I wasn't biased one way or the other and found fault with both parties involved as any reasonable person should. First, the clerk/store was dead wrong for lying about the value of ticket and then trying to cash in on it. If this isn't FRAUD, it was very close to it.
Secondly, I faulted the customer, as well, for not excercising their

Proposed Buffett Rule and How It Would Apply to Some Lottery Winners Who Invest
I am all for everyone paying their fair taxes. What gets my goat is knowing people who didn't work a lick in 2011. (Lived off welfare, food stamps, etc.) Then allowed another to claim their children to receive $9 grand in taxes.
The Fraud... just kills me.
When I get up every morning to go to work.. She lays in bed.
When I organize my day to get my work done, she plans what tv shows she will watch..
When I write my check to pay my taxes, she checks her box to see if she received them

5 Reasons You Don't Really Want to Win all that Lottery Money
CT, hows it going, you reminded me of when i got called to jury duty way back over 15 years.
a guy from Iraq pulled a fake S F, surv. had him on video as he staked out the spot, one of those standing ashtrays w/ the pink sand,
after walking past it a few times he scooped some of the sand on the floor, then laid down and started yelling for help,
i recall it cause i was called on the jury, told the judge i worked in a casino and know what goes on in the security ofc.
the judge said, yo

Almost-millionaire on a 15-year political pilgrimage
So that there's order instead of chaos; and less chance of fraud. Fraudsters have to work within the deadline instead of having all the time in the world to perfect their scam.
I feel sorry for this man, it must have hit his gut terribly to realize he was not only that close to millions, but that the solution was simple instead of difficult. That solution is not really advertised at all. HOWEVER, lottery winnings are found money, not earned money. I realize many here are going to react violen

NJ man sued over $38.5M lottery ticket
Any way the Mega millions is so lucrative, about 15 years ago I was responsible or I was behind about 30,000 pakistan nationals playing the same numbers on a lotto betting site paying maximum of 100,000 pounds for every winner, and the bet company sent the scotland yard to denmark to talk to me for giving the numbers and why i let so many people have so much money, this was not fraud, and i was begged by scotland yard not to give money or winning numbers to muslim countires to protect UK and USA

Only one? No all major lottery in EU or US is rigged: El Gordo, in Spain is not a exception
In our hearts we know that every lottery is fraudulent, but some still have the hope to win one day the jackpot.
yet not even knowing that's all a illusion that will never happen.
i still havent figured out where all this money is going. the goverment must be involved in this fraud, you can't just hide and intercept billions of cash from the always watching eyes of the goverment.
the money must be go somewhere.
peace and out.
Was the Spanish press you mentioned a tabloid

State cuts lottery winner's benefits
I totally agree with your assessment sully, particularly in your home state of Michigan, perhaps one of the worst hit areas in the country.
It must be very frustrating for you to witness this fraud first hand. Working in a grocery store especially, you have truly seen it all.
I was just commenting on this forum exchange process. Sometimes its good to step back and view things with a little comical intervention.
Being overly serious, can raise your blood pressure, and sometimes pre

State cuts lottery winner's benefits
Well, that was an interesting read. Shows common (or lack of ) sense in typical government programs and recipients thereof. Kudos to Rep. ZORN and Sen. Stabenow for being on the offense to curb excessive freebies to a person(s) that doesn't actually need it. Clayton takes home over $500K and is still struggling with 2 houses and a new car ? lack of common sense Everyone say big AWWWWW POOR BABY .. Now, this house bill #5302 is a good thing shows some common sense .....

Loose Scratch-offs, or ones that are still attached to the roll?
It could be that, it happened to me once before that I was playing a $10 game, and it looked like it was at the end of the roll, I started on 007 and purchased my way down to 002 and asked for the last two, and he said that I had the last two. I informed him that the last two were 001 and 000, not 002. Rolls do not end on 002. $10 tickets go from 000 to 029.
He admitted that the owner liked to take the first few tickets of the roll, and I informed him that it was fraud, and reported him to th

If you are Illegal and play lottery shouldn't they learn the rules on collection
I'm drunk right now, but I'll find you the links. One guy in fact spent 3 years in the Library of Congress to get those facts. It's not presumable BS. it's a fact. I even read the history of how he became involved in the first place. Grandpa Bush was a tire salesman, ans when he married the daughter of a successful banker, the dad was too embarrassed that she was going to marry a tire salesman, so he offered a job in the banking world, and it was all history.
I'll find the links dude, just no
