However, at one location, I overheard the clerk and Lottery official, they were discussing which game to remove to make room and mentioned let's take the one that has the fewest on the roll So there may not be any co-ordination as to leaving a Jackpot on the rack. That's one way to figure it out as a simple exercise in logic. If you play all 1000 possibilities you've got a 100% chance of winning. If you play 1 possibility 1000 times your chance of losing is .999 raised to the 1000th power, which is .3677, or 36.774%. meaning your chnce of winning is only 63.23%. One of the simplest systems for 12 numbers in a pick 6 lottery consists of selecting the 12 numbers by any method you choose (birthday numbers, statistical lottery charts, etc.) and then grouping the 12 numbers into 4 groups of 3 numbers each.
